This is part of the ? problem, too many damn yes men and Im sure its not just with Em. ? been producing his own ? since the Em Show which Dre was around for the most part I imagine and since then aint nobody tellin him his ? sound ? up. Props to Just Blaze for that.

The reason his fans never gave it the backlash like they did with Relapse is because of the classic deep/thought provoking/intrpsective songs on Encore everyone loves
Where as Relapse only had 'Beautiful' 'Deja Vu' and the bonus songs everyone loves Beautiful and Deja Vu but hates the rest of the album because besides these two songs the rest of the album was all serial killer, ? , violence content and everyone was like we wanted an album full of songs like Beautiful which everyone proclaimed the diamond in the dirt on that album
So then he scrapped Relapse 2 because unlike most other artists Eminem cares about his fans so then he made a deep/introspective album with Recovery instead of Relapse 2 and it went on to sell Diamond 10 million worldwide
He also acknowledged himself in interviews he himself thought Relapse was wack too after he started listening to it he said the content sounded played out and that Relapse lacks replay value because the jokes and violance got played after one listen. His own words
