Id have to say TPAB based on my personal expectations. It wasn't a bad album but.....I just expected much more n feel like people were trying to force the album to b bigger n better than it was.

TPAB is the best album of the year that only gets better each listen.

TPAB was weak as ? and a major disappointment. I forget I own it 95% of the time.

IYRTITL has been drakes weakest project also.

Yall trippin, i was just about to bump the Kendrick album and say it may just be classic

If it wasn't for the shaky start with the funkadelic theme it'd be a no brainer. Bc the end of that album is rich

    You aint gotta lie
    Complexion
    Mortal man
    I album version

all grew on me a lot. I love 'I' now lol

Momma was a day 1 classic

Momma, Wesley's Theory, and Insitutionalized are classics.

i really don't see how meeks album could be the biggest dissapointment. clearly the singles and other music released post jail and pre album were not out of this world. If anything the album was slightly better than i anticipated. Meek reached his peak at dreamchasers 2 flow and quality wise.

I guess I'm lucky because I actually like all tha albums I've got this year... Joey Bada$$, Lupe, Rocky, GFK, K Dot & Vince Staples all put out really good albums in my opinion...tha 2 albums that that I could say I listen to tha least but are still ok would be AB Mr. Wonderful and Wale TAAN...

    Dark Sky Paradise

    edit

I'll explain my decision. Underneath is the list of albums I bought so far this year. This is the pool I measured from. Out of THESE albums, DSP was the most disappointing. Not saying it's a bad album, just not as good as the one's listed. I'm sure it's better than a lot of albums in this thread but Meek, Wale ect will never see the play button in my iTunes or my wallet.

    Tetsuo & Youth
    Dark Sky Paradise
    The Ecology
If You're Reading This It's Late
    To ? a Butterfly
    The Good Fight

One more note, IYRTITL being a "mixtape" I didn't have as high of expectations as I did for DSP.

It didn't hold my attention but it wasn't this year so

Wale's album was ok but I expected better considering The Mixtape About Nothing was very good. Still probably his best album but that's not saying much.

Plus also considering Festivus was a Vietnam War era flame thrower...that album wasnt bout ? just as the title stayes

"People" have different opinions. people who thought TPAB most likely stayed away from the thread for the most part and weren't as vocal about it until an opportunity like this one lent itself, trust and believe there are still many people that it's not only a classic but AOTY also. I'm just not one of them.

It depends on your depth of character.
These same people will say tupac has classics but not kendrick.
