Jay Electronica took to Twitter yesterday (August 9) to call out rappers who glorify violence against their own people. Electronica calls such a rapper a "coward," a "slave" and a "? ."
"Be clear I have zero respect for any so called thug that will bang on his own brother and ppl and community but ? up when cops come," he writes.
He says that there are more than just a few rappers playing this game.
"I hate these ? cowards," Electronica continues. "The entire game is full of cowards. And ? coonery tap dance ? acting like they bout some kinda life."

Saying a name just starts an unnecessary individual beef and deflects from his point. We all know the ppl he means.
But I agree it's better to make the music that shifts the culture, rather than just posting on Twitter. Maybe when the solar eclipse aligns with the pyramids and a meteor hits the sunken continent atlantis...Then he will bless us. -

I know y'all want everyone to put out a album. But some people are just mad at the game right now. Not because they cant put out a album but because even the ones who put out albums or can put people on beef in right now. Some people don't want no part of it. Its a mess.

I agree with Jay Elect. There's a handful of Artists who can get away with it, it's their Thing. But everybody can't be doin' that ? *cough cough Ar-Ab* *cough cough Dark-Lo*
It's time Hip Hop grow up and redirect that energy into conquering the oppressors. I love that violent, evil, demonic gangsta ? just like the next Brotha. But nowadays I be hearin' some of this ? and it's soooooooooooooooooooo played out & unoriginal. I'm not gonna turn a deaf ear to it immediately but alotta fools make it easy to without even giving it a chance.
I had a conversation with two dudes from around tha way tha other day. Somehow pregnant ? smokin' weed ended up being brought up they was like "some people just don't know any better.... blah blah". And whole time I'm like "that ? 's just excuses and weak mindedness" but yet they were trying to fight me on it as if there was something that I didn't understand and they had valid excuses for doing so.
I ended up basically saying that "this aint the 80s no more and ? might've been a "legitimate" excuse but everything else aint". Then after a minute they finally came around and heard how ? they sounded
Moral of the story..... we gotta do better becuz we know better but just aint doin it
