That list is pretty close to perfect.
I'm glad Low End Theory got an honorable mention. I used to bump that album every day.
They should have given one of Jay Z's albums (Reasonable Doubt or Blueprint) an honorable mention. -
I would've died if Snoop came #1 considering what came 2nd
-
Got no problems with this. One of the few times Watch Mojo got something right when it came to their hip hop lists.
-
Nope...radio is not an honorable mention it should be top 3. Radio is the structure for all modern day hip hop albums. Street song club song radio friendly and a chick track. That model is still followed
-
Whats the list?
I dont have 14minutes to watch that on mobile -
Top Ten is too small imo but this a great list none the less.
-
Nope. List is biased. I would've took Reasonable Doubt off. Shuffled a few around. Made room for 400 Degrees or even Kings Of Crunk. Once again this is a white guys list. Our southern brothers were not represented in OUR genre.

Reasaonable Doubt wasn't even on it though... -
Dont see why "Me Against The World" is in that list. A great album & probably my favorite 2pac album. But they just put him in their based on who he became once he died.
A classic no doubt, but most important to hip-hop? I cannot see it whatsoever. Wasn't that big of an impact.
Cube's 1st or 2nd album should've been up there way before. Or maybe OB4CL? The list could go on. -
TL;DW...

05. Straight Outta Compton
04. Ready to Die
03. The Chronic
02. Illmatic
01. Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) -

Its a solid, respectable list but Radio not being on there hurts also Paid in Full being #10 was wild to me.
I could make an argument that MMLP shouldnt be on there, especially for the reasons they gave, but if they were going to put it they definitely shouldn't have placed it so high. -
The Marshall Mathers LP was important for hip hop how??
-
That's a solid list
-
The MMLP definitively does not deserve to be on that list.
-
07. The Marshall Mathers LP
-
I like watchmojo for the topics but they be having 16 min vids to say something that can be said in 6 mins
-
RD is easily Hov's best album and Lyrically the most Lyrical album ever but overall most overrated album ever
Has not aged well
-
No Drizzy Drake?
-
Lol....get that mmlp ? otta there...
-
I can see the argument for MMLP because of the whole "freedom of speech" issue but Straight Out of Compton is the bigger album in that regard. I said earlier it was a solid list but MMLP is the only album to me that could be disputed. I'd replace it with the Geto Boys "Grip It, On that Other Level". It along with the group helped pave the way for future southern acts. The first southern hip hop album to go gold and in 1989 no less.

No Bone Thugs...? went diamond
MMLP......SSLP or Encore
Anyways people gotta leave the 90s and respect the 15 years of music after
Tech N9ne should make the list just off gp
GRODT possibly too -

If you're going to put Tech N9ne you might as well add Shenco. -

Replace MMLP with 2 Live Crew's Banned In The USA.
