I have to say Mobb Deep's The Infamous and Hell On Earth. even if neither album is the GOAT album, The Infamous had Shook Ones and Hell On Earth was a classic sequel like Godfather Part 2. both albums compliment each other well..

A Tribe Called Quest got Low End Theory and Midnight Marauders.

Those are both 5 mic classics.

If not this then Yeezy with CD and LR

Honestly, I think the lyrics on The Chronic fell short. The beats were dope and the sound quality was better than what was out at the time, but lyrically it was average. I'm not saying it was wack, but lyrically it didn't impress me.

It was like, what would happen if you got some average MCs to rap over dope beats?

Shock post. Not every classic album is supposed to be crazy lyrical like Illmatic.

Do you agree or disagree with me?

I used to ? Nuthin But A G Thing and Let Me Ride because of the beats. It was smooth music to ride to in the whip, but I can't say any of the lyrics made me press rewind like, "Yo did he just say that?!?!?!?"

the production on The Chronic overshadows the wack lyrics Dre was spitting. Dre could've made an instrumental version of The Chronic without rapping and it would still be a classic.

I'm glad "The Cool" by Lupe Fiasco is now considered a classic.
