im sure the people from atlanta already knew this but It looks like the arts center they been promoting heavily has been closed for a little over a year.....sad ?
The center was founded in 1997 by Tupac Shakur's mother Afeni Shakur in response to preserving her son's legacy.[1] It is designed to bring quality arts training to young people including some students that face many social-economic issues such as poverty.[2] Many students have enriched their artistic abilities through this center and some have even received part-time jobs.[2]
In July 1999 the foundation began its first annual summer session of PA camps with twenty campers.[3] The camp continued to grow throughout the years. On June 11, 2005 The Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts Peace Garden and visitor centre was opened.[4] The peace garden was designed as a tribute to Tupac Shakur as well as others who have died. In 2006 the music video for the single Pac's Life for the self-titled album was shot at the The Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts.[5] Tupac's mother Afeni Shakur also went to Africa in 2006 and fostered a relationship between The Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts and The Nelson Mendela foundation.[6]
After 2006 the foundation showed signs of growth as many additional programs were created such as after school programs, dance classes and cultural exchange programs. Fees for these program resemble prices similar to those of joining a local sports league.[7]
The foundation has also held Tupac birthday concert celebrations since 2009.
Sometime before September of 2015 the Stone Mountain facility became abandoned and now sits unkept along with the Peace Garden and statue of Tupac on the property.

Just shows ? is doing one of two things. Lip professing or fronting on how much change they're really holding.
I don't rock with Pac. Not my style but I do know every other ? got a Pac coming out his mouth in some shape, form, or fashion. So, this really shouldn't be going down. -
I Drive by this ? all the time off Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain .
I just look at it and SMH because that ? would be good for the bad ass Kids in the Area . -
They ? up by building it in Atlanta

Should've been built on the west coast, in LA or Oakland. It could've been like the next Watts Writers Workshop.

Not even L.A. maybe Oakland or New York. Needed to be in a area where black people thrive. Also needed to be In a area where Pac had influence. L.A. gang culture would've taken away from the school. -
Should have been built in Baltimore...

Funny those millions of mourners not keeping the doors open tho. Funny how so many claim pac was the end all be all but this goes down. Pac fans let him down. -
Anyone ever been there when it was open?
-
I remember when they built that statue years ago, there was actually a thread on here about it. Don't look nothing like him.......

Very upsetting.
Somebody should step in -

Now that I think about it, he dissed Dr Dre too. Those are two people that could fix the problem with the snap of a finger.
