MEN with SONS: At what age should hugs/kisses turn to handshakes?

I was prob bout 6 when my pops sat me down and said men greet other men with handshakes...
Dont think my cousins got the memo cuz them ? was kissin granddad on the cheek at like 13 LMFAO.
I still pick my son up and hug him he'll give me a kiss on the cheek or I'll kiss him on the cheek, and he's four. I guess it might be strange to drop that ? off to first grade and kiss him goodbye..
So I say around 5-6 years old.

everytime i see him i get my hug and kiss..

Me and my son does a handshake and i give him a hi five.
He's a 5 year old man. -

Doesn't have to be one or the other. Hug and kiss my son every chance I get. Also shake hands with him and give him fist bumps. He's 6.

Yea I kiss Lil Turfy on the head b4 I we separate. Or even when I get home from work and he sleep. Some times I'll kiss him on the forehead while he's sleep. But sometimes family will ask him random ? like "awww you love your daddy? Give him a kiss!" My son will have a confused as look and say "I don't kiss daddy, I give him a hug though".

Usually kids let you know when it's time to stop kissing them goodbye cuz it's "embarrassing".
