Neither of them are lyrical juggernauts, but both have had an impact on southern hip hop culture.

Commercial success, lyrical talent, punchlines, body of work, peak album, longevity, cultural influence.

Who is the better rapper?
Who has had the better career?

Sound off below

Both pretty even, but Tip is the most consistent and still dropping dope songs and projects.

both in my top 5 pretty sure im the only one who gon pick luda tho, prolly bias cuz i was on his music couple years b4 tip, better lyricist, punchlines. tip does have a slightly more consistent body of work and longevity tho. but ? will not give luda albums any respect and act like him being himself and funny from time to time is a hinderance.

Luda the better rapper, and Tip has been more consistent. Both make good music, and both got a classic album...Luda with Word of Mouth and Tip with Trap Muzik. I prefer TI's music a tad bit more, even though TI been trash here lately.

Super no-sign on this track and you're missing the track on Paper Trail.

Luda was that ? 10 years ago. That ? was killing everyone in features. Lyrically, Luda can hold his own with the best

    T.I. is too 1 dimensional

Just raps and gets RnB singers to feature and do alotta the hooks on his songs/singles and just rhymes verses

Ludacris just raps too but atleast does his own hooks and is actually decent at hooks unlike T.I. where hooks are his biggest weakness

T.I. also mainly raps about selling drugs, money, materialsim, being a thug

Ludacris is more diverse and creative. Makes animated songs, deep songs, street songs, party songs, personal songs

Yes T.I. is alot better technically as far as Multi Syllables, Word Play, Similie's, Metaphors, Punchlines.

But Ludacris creates the better albums, songs, singles

Even when your ? tries your hardest to sound remotely intelligent, you forgot to sound like you know what you're talking about.

Luda never really fell off. As he matured, His music just doesnt connect with this era. He's not a rapper for this time period. The music is still good.

TI on the other hand, has fallen off some. That Paperwork was prime example of it. That and dude still rappin about the trap LOL this guy is a multi-media millionaire, ? you still talkin trap? A myriad of things have kept TIP's name a float (Travis Scott, Iggy, his show, beef with Azealia Banks) which is why he's still somewhat relevant. More than Luda at least.
