In response to the original 'Who Shot Ya' with BIG and Keith I posted up, I thought this was worth posting up... A dope tune that everyone killed, a great posse cut... IMO LL murdered it, but they all went hard...
P actually was beefing with Keith at the time and took a shot at him in the tune, its not in the video for somereason, but on LL's album its 'censored' out... He said 'You get back slapped so hard make ya nose bleed, Some Def kids feeling guilty 'bout the space schitt, The truth hurts baby girl so just face it (Alright)'... I always wondered why P's verse censored and what he said, I didnt know it was because of that shot a Keith...
When Pac heard this him and his crew confronted Keith about it, Keith was cool with Pac and assured him that it was not a shot and that he wasnt even cool with P so he was not taking anyones side, apparently they then shook hands and peaced it...

Prodigy was really on top of his game around this time, I think it was round his classic solo album time frame too... But LL and Joe topped Prodigy on this one IMO... They all killed it though... -

oh. I was close. Close, meaning, Jay was using samples of other current rappers which was weird when i think about it. in 96 he was sampling nas, prodigy, and snoop? really ? ? -

I didnt ? with the east coast tough back in the mid 90's. i was west, midwest, and south. all day.
So when i pressed play on the video, that line jumped out. -

Remember when the remix drop around Fall of '95 i think & it was was my introduction to Foxy Brown as well. Video & song was ran so much because it was just dope. Everyone came in with dope verses.
