So I was in the ADHD talkin about why the site seem so slow now-a-days. And Skuurt replied about how he's actually gotten ? out of this site....
Simple question:
What have you gotten out of being on the IC? Some people say they've gotten jobs and financial connects...
I remember I got a little writing job from here once, a laptop and some video games, and actually some chick I ALMOST married...ALMOST. (Was known at the time but yall wouldn't remember her so dont bother)

some new folk to conversate with, where I know brutal honesty is mostly being written (be it good or bad, immaturity or maturity, educated or ignorant, just young or old). Plus, working the night shift, it's good to talk on some ? , other people i work with or know typically don't care to speak on..........for various reasons.

The news. I hate watching it on television, but the various forums and threads here keep me up to date on stuff that I deem pretty important. A lot of good reading material. Better at debating. Some great music. Some great laughs.

Entertainment. I would pick the IC over most of what's on tv and the radio. If this was a reality show amerikkka would ? itself.

I been here since like 2000. Its a place where I can make a esoteric Wu-Tang or The Wire reference while discussing current events and people will know exactly what I'm talking about. Also where else am I gonna talk hip-hop? SOHH? Boxden? ? that ? lol.
