Tha Carter 1-3 is the best consecutive albums of all time. No rapper has that many Classic albums back to back to back. Each album is better than the last displaying Waynes growth into a top ten GOAT.

Top 5 hip hop duos of all time.
    5. Dame Dash and Jay-z
    4. Method Man and Redman
    3. Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre
    2. Birdman and Lil Wayne
    1. Suge and Pac

Tupac and ice cube want to talk to you about best 3 consecutive album statement

? , a psychiatrist wants to talk to him about half the ? he's said in the reason

Carter ii is his best work to me. It seems like he dumbed down his lyrics and started to write lazy bars after that album. I think he did it to reach a more pop mainstream audience.

Poll going how I thought it would. Carter II is one of my favorite albums.

But I still think y'all sleeping on the flow, lyricism, and perfect southern production of Tha Carter. If you ain't heard it, or it's been a minute, give that ? a listen.

I also appreciate the respect Wayne is getting in this thread.

Too much hate around here for one of the greatest artists of my generation.

lol @ new Wayne still being dope

    Nah fam

I seriously struggle to listen to long periods of Wayne outside of those 3 albums and Like Father, Like son(highly slept on)

Wanna know the difference between new Wayne and Young Thug? Thug is better...Wayne had an amazing run(top 5 maybe 3) and an equally dramatic fall off

and him still having support doesn't speak to the quality of the music...bring it up has nothing to do skills

Offline his diminished quality of music is noticed as well

    Just cause ? ? was being ?

I don't know why Wayne get so much hate on here.. the ? broke the Internet countless times with mixtape releases

    But yall call him garbage

The IC been anti Wayne for years, just how it is when you're on top. Same treatment Jordan got.

Im a IC ? . So i know the conversations. The more famous you are, the more hate u get.

Im one of the few people who actually was bumpin the hot boyz back in 97. And thats only because i was stationed in Texas. I heard lil keke early too. ? actually credit me for puttin cleveland on to mystikal because i brung his tape up in 95, let my cuzzinz dubb it, and there ya go.

Wayne wasnt even better than Turk in the Hotboyz most of the time. But wayne stayed. Cash money was a machine and i honestly thought he would never make it because he been rapping since 12 and had money and the streets aint gon ? with him. Boy was i wrong and i will eat that crow.

Wayne went on a mixtape freenzy. He had that drought ? . he unloaded all of his written rhymes and started anew. Gillie the kid was a big influence. The ? aint lying when he say " before wayne met me, he was rapping like " bobble dee bobble dee, drop it like its hot."

Think about it, lil carter all of a sudden had bars. was flowin. and then......... He reveiled his new chops.

    lil duffle bag boy

2Chainz, i cant hate. He came up, but after him, a string of one hit gimmick rappers came out.

Don't know if that's hate or nostalgia.

But I chalk all that up to growth and maturity... I give him more kudos for it.

Everybody is influenced by their peers/mentors, especially teenagers.

It's not how you start... It's how you finish.

Never been a big Wayne fan but Carter 2 I feel was his best all around album. Carter 1 he wasn't quite there yet & Carter 3 while it has quality joints just felt so much like an industry manufactured album. He had that right balance of raw ? & appeal to the masses. Too bad he hasn't been able to be consistent since.

wayne was wabbldy wabbldy, he was also this

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6culKsr4D4s

his growth could come from gillie influence, i also attribute it to letting go of some of that bounce music he was on and maturing into a grown mane

also im puttin any ? who say turk out rapped any hot boyz on a consistent basis on shady team status
