How Many Bonafide Classics Are There?

We see the word "classic" being thrown around a lot.

Some albums seem like classics when they come out but have zero replay value as the years go by (MMLP).

Other albums are regional classics. People in one region like it but the rest of the country doesn't get it (Project Pat)

Then there's the albums that everybody agrees is a bonafide 100% classic (Illmatic, ? , Life After Death)

So the question remains; How many classic rap albums are there?

    I think there's about 25.

Does it matter? It's all about personal taste. Though people seem to throw that word in there a lot just cuz an album was made during a curtain era. That's dumb.

Really, which 80's albums you got in mind. I think there's about 5-6 classics in that golden era.

Maybe I didn't think this through enough. Good list. I'll take Criminal minded, Compton, paid in full, it takes a nation, raising hell, great adventures of slick rick. The rest gotta be some 90's joints which include illmatic. I can't think of no classics from 2000's and 2010's and I'm talking about complete game changing classics
