At some point male rage/testosterone takes over and the ass whupping becomes more about taking out his own life frustrations on her, rather than what she did to cause the ass whupping.
Once a Father resorts to a ass whupping, that means he has lost his edge in psychological warfare, in terms of discipline through respect, and being an authority figure.
Don't know where they're located geographically, but many studies have confirmed that black families from the South, often whip their children similarly to how slaves were beaten/whipped by their white masters. Standing up bent over, and the screams just fuel more lashes ratcheting up adrenaline-fueled rage.

Sad. Victims of abuse always think they deserved it. Whipping and beating children is so ingrained in our psyche that we truly think it is harmless and even good for a child. The slave mentality of beating the lessons into a black child is the standard to this day.

When I was in 7th grade my bad ass older cousin came to live with us cuz my mom was known for that tough discipline. He was a year older than me, dude was consistently getting kicked out of school, fighting kids, and doing drugs. Well at the same time my moms friend was living with us in the back room. One day her diamond earrings go missing so of course my mom asks us all first cuz she doesn't want to make it seem like she's going directly towards him, well he looks her in the eye and is says. Lol anyways my moms friend come in the room and is all sad and then she looks at my cousin and is like "those are my earrings!" Dude was wearing them, he had took all that extra dangling stuff off and just put the center diamond in his ear.
That night my dad whooped his ass just like this video, the craziest part about it was that my cousin gave no ? . My dad called him to the room, and my cousin just put his hands on the dresser and my dad whipped the ? outta him. I mean ? looked and sounded like the whippings from twelve years a slave. My cousin took it then walked into the room (we shared the room) without a tear ? was crazy. Lol -
