    Well since you want to get all serious and ? ...


    To me, hip hop is different then most genres of music.

    Sure you can rap at whatever age, but the farther you get from your demographic the harder it is for your audience to connect with your content...

    There are certain topics that don't resonate well when they are "rapped"... And if it isn't authentic for you to rap about topics that do resonate, it introduces an immediate disconnect.


    Would you respect a 12 year old rapping about ? hoes or hard times in life?
    Would you relate to a 65 year old rapping about the black societal issues or coming of age?


    In contrast would you connect with either of them rapping about less "traditional rap topics" That are more authentic to their position in life?
    • Doing homework
    • Retirement
    • Puberty
    • Grandchildren


    Its just a little off putting, bruh ...





    For the record, you can sneak by in your early 40s IMO, but not for much longer

    I see your point in a way, but isn't jada's demographic the ? that ALREADY like Jada's music? I don't think he's chasing radio or getting "new" fans per se. His fanbase/demographic kinda grew with him.
