Kendrick Lamar is being sued by one of his fans for $1 million over a meet-and-greet dispute. Whitney Larkins filed a lawsuit after paying $350 for a VIP package to meet the rapper and emailed Lamar’s manager, Dave Free, asking for an additional three minutes of one on one time with him. According to TMZ, Larkins claims Free agreed to the extra three minutes for a “cash payment of $10,000.”
Not to be defeated by a large sum of money Larkins, kept reaching out to Kendrick’s team trying to get additional information. This upset someone in Kendrick’s camp as Larkins received an email the night before the show explaining that she had been banned from the concert and her $350 would be refunded.
Larkins’ response was to file a lawsuit on her own. She is still a fan of Kendrick Lamar though calling him “one of the greatest rappers alive of all time who is on par with Tupac.” But she is obviously unhappy with his manager Dave Free who ruined her night and filled her with “deep sadness.” She did not have kind words to say about Free calling him “arrogant, snotty and an all-around bad dude from the rooter to the tooter!”
Kendrick Lamar was recently nominated for 11 Grammys including album of the year for his latest release To ? A Butterfly.

She came off as a extra strong groupie and rather than put Kendrick in a situation with her, they refunded her money and told her to keep it moving

This is pretty common. All kinds of entertainers and reality tv stars charge a few hundred for "meet and greet" passes.
A sane person would laugh at paying for such a thing but there are a lot of stans and thots in the world with disposable income. -

Met Kendrick a couple of years ago and didn't pay a dime. I Guess times change.
Celebrities make wayyy to much money to ever go broke. I imagine a meet and greet has about 100+ people with a 1 minute time limit to speak with the artist and get an autograph.
I would do meet and greets all day. -
