He's right. We as a people need to stop demanding that we're included in white people's (in this case Ashkenazi Jews,) ? . We have the money and stories that we want to tell. Black people who are in the film industry need to go to Detroit, (because their damn near giving away land in Detroit,) set up shop, and start our own studio system. The Indians (Dotheads,) didn't beg and plead for the Jews to give them ? . The Nigerians didn't beg and plead for the Jews to give them ? , so why are we (in 2016) begging and pleading for inclusion and validation when we should be doing our own thang?

Although his movies are ass and have simplistic and predictable writing many times driven by stereotypes more Black folks particularly in the acting field should follow the Tyler Perry model.
Own your own studio and find you a distributer and release your own material independent of any of these White owned companies whom are only looking out for their own interests.
As far as our own award shows we already have them with the BET Awards, Soul Train Awards, NAACP Image awards, etc problem with that though is those outlets cater to a more urban audience and aren't as respected by the White mass media so many Blacks don't really give them that repect either which is a white washed way of thinking. -

I understand what you're saying and there is some validity to your argument, BUT when you have the majority White folks making decisions on whether to give an award to a multitude of Whites or the one or two Blacks that may or may not have been nominated who do you think they're going to choose.
If you really want to hurt White folks stop supporting White owned ? ; Black folks may only make up about 15% of the US population but we have way more finacial power than you know.
We love riding around flaunting our name brand ? as sign of status when Ralph Lauren, NIKE, BMW, Mercedes, Caddilac, Apple, Gucci, Louis Vutton, Rolex, etc. don't give a damn about us; however, when I see someone rocking that stuff more times than not they're Black. -

I'm not against the Image Award, but if I were an actor my question would be "why cant I have BOTH?!" I want BOTH, I said it before I want any award I'm eligible for I don't care who is giving it away.
