On some real ? it kinda coulda been worse and I ain't even tryna stunt on u. My stick is ? up. That ? won't crouch. I gotta bang on that ? to act right. That's part of the reason your Ryu ? me up. My ? wouldn't go to crouch. I gotta open that ? up to see if it's a piece loose or some ? . Regardless it was some good games. I saved u as a favorite so we can get it in again. And yes, Karin is a bad ? lol. -

real talk.
How accessible is SFV to new 2-D fighting game players?
My experience comes from playing Smash Bros Melee, so I understand the concept of spacing, frame traps, footsies, etc. but I've never used a fight stick in my ? life. -
U can still use a controller no problem

Yeah but that ? don't seem like it would function 100% optimally.
Controller definitely matters so I'd rather learn stick tbh. -

I use a controller and I can say it probably stunts my potential, but I have no interest in investing in a stick so... -

For me personally, I enjoyed the transition a lot. The main reason I got one was because back when SF4 had come out in Japan, one of the last arcades here in my part of LA had imported one, so the scene has pretty big outchea .. Without having one to practice with at home I was getting destroyed with ease... So I went ahead and coped the tournament stick from madcats.
Have 0 regrets about the purchase. 7 years later after damn near daily use it still holds up as if brand new.
The particular motor skills required made if so that it took a solid 2 months to get back up to my same level as a controller tho, it was fustrating getting my ass whooped by people id destroy with the pad, probably the only down side, but now that my execution is up the stick makes all the movements effortless, far easier than the pad imho, but there are plenty of players that are at the highest level with a pad so it's all about preference. -
I grew playing in arcades so the transition wasn't that bad but I agree, I did get my ass whooped for a lil till my muscle memory came back lol
-
Yea it took me a good 2 months losing because of the stick to get used to it.
Now i cant play with a controller at all lol
Execution is really easy in this compared to other sf so use w/e youre comfortable with
You dont need a stick to plink or double tap or anything in this -

About to hop on if anyone is interested
-
Nobody using alex?he been out for a few days now
-
I went 3-2 at Nasicon yesterday
-
I've seen a lot of Alex players online. A lot of people say he's garbage. Not my kinda character, so I haven't really touched him outside of finishing his story mode.
-
I've beaten almost every Alex player I've come across. He def has potential tho
