X on some lost-his-voice and frail-as-? David Ruffin ? .

He's been smoking it since 85. He was briefly off it as his fame rose but as soon as things got comfortable he went back.

Cant watch the video right now can someone @ me if he said something subliminal-worthy

This is like watching the Razor Ramon video when you just know this ? gonna die soon. This is some sad ? . I'm praying for him.

I'm glad X didn't sign to Bad Boy. He probably would've had the same career as Shyne, G-Dep and Black Rob.

I meant he probably would've dropped like only one or two albums and mostly worked with Bad Boy producers. And yeah, he would've prison time too. -

Yup, u could tell he's on his way to being Sly from the Family Stone status....a legend who's fallen hard due to drugs -
Man this dude was on top of the world at one point

Video cut short,,?? .., I would've rather heard more on those Battles.. Anyone got full video link or was that all he spoke on the matter??

The Podcast is in the Podcast thread. I thought the whole interview was dope. He was obviously on something or maybe it was a cold and it was late, but he ain't say anything off the wall. I felt him when he spoke on ? . Had to filter all the cussing out and what not, but he spoke real well on the subject, quoting scripture and what not. Dope insight from the scripture.

I'm glad he didn't sign either. Diddy would've probably been ad libbing DMX's barks -
I couldn't see DMX going for that shiny suit dancing ? though. Then again, had the Lox never signed to Bad Boy I might have said the same thing about them.
-
I listened to the whole podcast when he start freestyling/preaching/praying He sound like classic X.
People are always shocked when they see him like this but I don't remember him being any different. It's like how Lil Fame rap voice is high as ? but his regular voice is just regular.

Im only 15mins into the podcast in the car, but the second I heard X I thought I had it on +2 or something, when he spoke it sounded like a sped up version of X, like when you used to fast forward on them old cassette tapes back in the day... It seems the drugs and age has taken its toll on his body...
Nore is coming through with these interviews, I was only half way through on the Ja and Jada interviews, but the second I saw X I was like fck that Im going straight to that interview...
My only complaint is the background noise and poor audio quality... -
