Azealia Banks Sent For UK Rap And Grime And Everyone Shut Her Down
Azealia Banks has somehow managed to rile up the whole of Twitter once again.
Set to perform at Rinse: Born & Bred festival in London on June 5, the "212" rapper took aim at the UK and specifically Zayn Malik but then also bizarrely rap and grime, claiming "UK RAP is just a disgrace to rap culture in general" and with UK rappers "It's ALWAYS FORCED".
The UK really can't rap though. UK RAP is just a disgrace to rap culture in general.

Needless to say, people on Twitter weren't happy and fired back in full force.

Hell two of the biggest US HipHop acts (Drake and Kanye) have both been influenced by British HipHop in recent years -
So the UK can't rap but Slick Rick is one the most influential MC's of all time.

Yea he moved to NY when he was a teen. He's said that he's a Londener by heart. Which is also evident in his lyrics and accent.
UK dont really get to claim Slick Rick when he was 10 years old when he moved to the Bronx in 1974..everything in hiphop hes done was him living in birthplace of it. Bronx has more claim to Slick Rick than London does. -

It always makes me laugh when some jumped-up ignorant American either on here or elsewhere is quick to dismiss UK Hip Hop and Grime considering it is currently knocking out fresher and better music than American Hip Hop right now which outside of a couple of artists sounds dead and fresh out of ideas. As much as I liked her album all she is doing is rapping over Dance tracks - 80s Hip-House called, they want their ideas back.
Anyway, she's been dashed off the festival by Rinse for being a racist ? so all's well. I notice she's happy to perform and take money from a festival where the organisers specialise in UK Hip Hop and Grime. -
