I really don't cuss around my father. I think in my whole life I have heard him say one cuss word. He doesn't anger easily and is pretty laid back. He also does not say replacements for cuss words, he just doesn't speak that way. He is getting older now and frustration is starting to be more visible so we are all waiting to see what will come out, lol.

It's actually odd, the more angry I get IRL, the less I curse. My wife says when i'm upset I turn into the godfather
I'm not filterin nothin when i'm wit my peoples though. I don't like to curse around kids, and I never curse in front of my elders in my family though. It's a respect thing. -

I still don't cuss around my parents. But I went fishing with my pops and brother recently. I had a hit and it was big. I was bout to pull it on shore and the fish flailed and got of the hook....i yelled "mothaf***a!" My pops died laughing. It can happen lol. I was ? off tho. -

I get omitting the word (therefore the intent behind the word) entirely, that makes sense, but saying ? instead of damn?

I don't curse around them. No matter how old I get, I'm still their baby. It keeps me humble. -

When I'm around my kids and the rest of my family no cursing period. I might say holy schnikes or cheese and rice. But when I'm with my homies I'm Negan from TWD

Me personally I just don't swear. I don't use replacement words because profanity would never be my first option to begin with. I do find it hilarious when people equate cursing with maturity. "I'm grown so I curse". I think it's the opposite but to each his own. Everyone around me cursing has never made me want to join in. But then I'm not much of a follower. It's just not my style. Shrugs.

It's funny because I don't curse around my peoples at all but both of my parents began cursin around me regularly at around 23ish
I'm @ 27 still scared asf to curse around my peoples, lol I barely show in frustrated or angry around them lol
I don't think I will ever let them hear me curse, I'm sure they know as Ive received multiple charges stemming from weed , so who smokes weed but doesn't curse?
