A closer version............
I can believe a scenario where Troy shot himself in the leg while pulling the banger out of his waist. Considering the banger looks to have jammed (or he chose not to shoot at dude right after he came thru the door), I can see him shooting himself. It almost looks like he shot into a crowd.
He's the bread-winner, so there's no way he should have been dumb enough to allow himself to be the hitta. That's what his crew is for. -

They gone take a plea deal cause the DA know that charge ain't gone stick. And hit him wit the weapon charge. ? around, homie get 3 at the very most. If not probation and or house arrest.

More than likely one of the shooting victims was shot by his gun when he was bustin. That's why they hit him with the attempt murder.
