No ? over 25 should even have an opinion on this forreal. This ain't for us

And its funny how the 'Real rappers' are never in the middle of the pic. They know they don't mix with them ?

Dawg hip hop is dead, imagine that cover being shown in the 90s and the field day ? would have especially between '94-96, hopefully 10 years from now in 2026 hip hop is back to how its supposed to be

Dave East can spit. Lil Yachty sounds like a parody of rap.

Cs, I dont even know how people can argue against it anymore.

Its a slow crawl, getting weirder and weirder, more trap, more singers.

You'll notice the freshmen cover does not have any ties to 'hip hop' in,the name, so the same way local urban radio stations are sliding in pop 40, in 5 years that list will be half bryson tillers, half "rappers". In 10 there will be none

'Dave East the best on there" hell he the ONLY one on there lls smh

What I think is happening and others have echoed the sentiment, is that hip hop is aging and entering the post-rap/hip-hop phase that rock went through in the 80's and 90's.(both genres were older then 40 at that point)

S2J is right this list is for the lil ? who started listening to rap in 2007/2008. Most of the artists on that cover were influenced by the hip hop of 2006-2009. Hence why ? sounds the way it do now. This is their era now and these cats are representative of it, so they ? with this ? . It's just not for me except for Dave East.

I still don't get the Lil Yachty hype. I usually congratulate success of artists, but I fear if this dude blow or is the new standard ,the exception and integrity of this ? will be hitting career lows. It's absolutely nothing wavy, unqiue, entertaining, jamming, or good about dude. And the fact the ? are taking him seriously is a mockery IMO. Dude doesn't even try or wanna be a rapper, yet these hipster ass critiques and fans are passing his ? of as "artsy" foh. Dude a straight industry plant.

Let dude be in the indie artsy lane. Dude is not a hip hop rapper.

Congratulations to my ? Kodak Black, who i ? with heavy, also Dave East, Lil Ducky, Anderson Paak who bussed his ass to get here, Denzel Curry finally making it! I'm so happy for them Florida ? man. They got some dope talent out there.

I think ? is exaggerating a lil bit, the cover aint all that bad. You got Curry, G Herbo and Dave East that are all pretty nice, Anderson Paak too but he aint really a rapper.

Not much "talent" on that cover so I guess they got that part right lol...

And they're younger for a reason...

Easier to finesse the young cats out of their money, sell them fame etc...

No more checks & balances, theres a reason old heads are meant to feel old and excluded in this culture, how is rap the only genre of music your supposed to grow out of...
