P.M. Dawn's Prince Be -- Dead at 46

One half of P.M. Dawn ... singer Attrell Cordes, who was best known as Prince Be ... has died.
Cordes passed away Friday at his NJ home from kidney disease. He was 46.
PM Dawn, which also included Cordes' brother, Jarrett, were huge in the early '90s. They're best known for their #1 hit "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss."
It appears Cordes was also living with diabetes. A post on the group's Facebook page read, "Prince Be Rest In Peace forever more, Pain from Diabetes can't harm you anymore."

"Die Without You" was my favorite PM Dawn song. That scene in Boomerang when Eddie Murphy makes up with Halle Berry and it plays in the background......classic.

damn RIP I remember being on a field trip at the Houston museum as a youngin and the bus driver was playing the radio and I'd Die Without You premiered on air for the first time ? had me glued in as youngin cause I was crashing on this chick lol classic memories

Not a massive fan of PM Dawn, but they had a massive hit, I guess you could say they helped bring in the 'soft rap' era or rap, thats no diss in fact a complement... -

This has to be one of the dumbest statements that's constantly mentioned on hip hop forums.
I grew up in the DMV and heard more go-go bumpin outta ? cars than any rapper, doesn't mean they wasn't ? wit other rappers.
