This may encourage politicians to take BLM more seriously as the non-violent alternative to the anti-brutality movement, a la Malcolm and Martin.

But Malcolm was cast in an unfair light he aint ? nobody he just explicitly stated that if the drama comes to you send them to their maker not take a bat to the dome, a knife to the chest, or a bullet without a response

    Narrative becomes the prevailing thought

Prevailing thought becomes bias, policy official or unofficial and law so yes it matter.

    "I feared for my life"

Funny how the narrative is changing from black males getting killed to cops getting killed. ? really had a good talking point and are changing to where the cops are looking like the victim. smh

Lol Im laughing bc these points obviously make sense...OBVIOUSLY. But its just no point in this climate on the ic

Its a war ourside and keyboard killers with no conscience are armed and dangerous

Chief of police said it's multiple suspects & 1 has been shot dead, still searching for other suspects

To everyone talking about a change in narrative if none of these cop shootings would have happened can you explain to me what you think would have changed if the "narrative" had stayed the same?

Agreed. But remember Malcolm proposed the ballot OR the bullet. The radical element usually makes the safe alternative, in this case BLM, seem more attractive.

If the face of government teaches citizens that the face of crime to always monitor is any other face besides the one that teaches then expect to always be taken for a joyride.

BR is ratchet, long before Alton got killed, there were major problems between police and ? , more so than most other cities.

It's like a ? of water that's been boiling on the stove, but now that's it's boiling over and the flame is getting bigger, everyone is noticing.

Hurricane Katrina made a lot of unaware people see how ? was in New Orleans.

Alton putting the spotlight on how ? is in Big Raggedy.

Da Boot ain't all Mardi Gras beads and gumbo.

It's a ratchet ass state and ? up in a lot ways.

He's right. I'm from NBR, majority of the places you've got people protesting at are legit hell holes. Like no hope type places. NOPD is also notoriously corrupt, but now people see how ? BR is, and there's no care in the world about NBR (as evident of Kip Holden's bias towards SBR, where LSU resides).

Brothers and sisters never forget all the bs our ancestors endured so we will not lose sight of the bigger picture. They want us to feel sorry for them when they die but tell us to shut the ? up and stop crying when they ? us. They want us to forget that only 50 years ago they were still hanging innocent blacks from trees because we looked at them wrong. Lets stop killing each other and fight the real battle

    Good luck

    This doesn't ? help, man.

For one, it undermines the whole BLM movement.

Two, it gives certain folk more ammo to call us all "terrorists" and drags the BLM movement into the mud, national media-wise.

You can say "? the police" without killing the ? police.

THAT's what people need to learn.

@Texas409 you think ? gonna lay down their hate and pettiness for one another to come together for a greater cause.. besides their is something you are missing... black lives dont matter to ? that shooting each other in the face.... matter of fact it would be utterly hilarious for them to support a movement while gutting their own. this is he real world not disney... Some ? gotta be left over there.

    Welp..

This is gonna lead to more cop sympathy and somehow get tied in to BLM to get them branded as a domestic terrorist group.

They were calling BLM a terrorist group since its inception. They said its Worse than the kkk.. they were saying all that with no basis, so this is kinda like when we were kids and our mamas would be like "stop crying or ima give u a reason to cry". These recent cop killers are giving the bigots a reason to slander the movement now...
