Its like Moses saying to the Israelites that he was a little rusty at magic, then he parted the Red Sea... -
He probably is the GOAT.

Im sure I remember hearing on the Combat Jack show, someone was talking about how BBoys or a BBoy was doing the moonwalk years before Michael Jackson, and doing it better too...

MJ learned the moonwalk from Jeffrey Daniel. He was a dancer on soultrain and part of the group Shalamar.
He was the choreographer for the Bad and Smooth Criminal music videos.
He then became the choreographer for MJ Bad and Dangerous world tour

The first version of the moonwalk was in the 40s I believe, but on the hip hop level or R&B level and maybe pre Jeffrey Daniel or maybe it WAS Jeffery Daniel, but yeah I head on Combat's show, I think it was like the Stets episode with Daddy O or some oldskool cat, saying BBoys or where doing in way before MJ...
Edit: It was on the Ice T 'Final Level' podcast not Combat's, it was the Full Force crew, talking about Dr Ice and Michael Jackson hanging around the break dancers...
Its around 1:03:00 mark...

Everything originates from somewhere, like I said in the 40s I heard Bill Bailey was the originator... Again Bill Bailey was a tap dancer, so I guess various tap dancers may be attributed to 'inventing' it...
But in hip hop/b-boy form, Im just posting what one of the dudes from Full Force said, and Ice T who said Mike hung with the break dancers, so I guess he must of got inspiration from them... I think they said Mike wasnt as dope Dr Ice at the moonwalk...
