he was always an elite mc, but he's really starting to find his stride. he's capable of producing very quality bodies of work right now.
-
He's got multiple classic albums and mixtapes. Elite level spitter and his diss songs are some of the best ever
-
'He is the reason why the funds is dizzy
Money continuously spinning, round and around like a frisbee' -
Best out of the slaughterhouse crew. In my top 5 D.O.A.
-
Nothing special. Not in my top 20.
-
I just got put onto Royce this year. This ? get busy.
-
One of my favorite MCs for many years
-
Nickle Nine is nice, I have him better than em
-
Was better earlier in his career
-
Was never a fan till I got satellite radio, he's way better than I originally thought... That song tabernacle was one of the best stories I ever heard
-
Good technical rapper, good wordplay.
-
Top 5 alive.
-
Amazing Rapper. Bar exam tapes and prhyme are personal classics. Death is certain dope also. Bested Eminem on most of the stuff they did
-
Top 5
-

-

^something like this except it was the first Slaughterhouse album that got me check for Royce. His last two joints are fire. -
Him and Schoolboy Q got the two best albums this year
One of the best lyricist in the game. I personally feel like he has more chemistry with Premo than any rapper i've ever heard. -
Death is certain
-
One of my favorite mc's but he had the "lyrical rapper who can't make albums" problem for a minute(besides death is certain). Now he's starting to make quality music. Agree him and schoolboy have two of the best projects this year, add elzhi and chance to that

Including Nas & The Notorious B.I.G.?
If you believe that, man that is high praise for Royce Da 5'9. -
Yeah. I prefer him over the goats (Big,Jay, Nas) on Premo beats. It's the way his flow sounds on Premo's beat. His flow is so clear and precise on the minimalist beats that Premo gives him. Kind of how CL Smooth voice is and flow fits on Pete Rocks beats. -
Well that's good cause they making a phryme 2
-
I feel like people sleep on his streethop album. That ? fire n it's a classic to me

thats true, his style means you rarely miss a word, voice clarity wise he could be the GOAT
was one of my favourite artists throughout the 2000s up until around slaughterhouse, which didnt really work for me and felt forced. first album was alright then second was just ? awful
prhyme was great though
