E. 1999 Eternal is the second studio album by American hip hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, released July 25, 1995, on Ruthless Records. The album was released four months after the death of rapper Eazy-E, the group's mentor and the executive producer of the album. Both the album and single "Tha Crossroads" are dedicated to him. Following up on the surprise success of their breakthrough single "Thuggish Ruggish Bone", it became a popular album and received positive reviews from music critics, earning praise for the group's melodic rapping style. The album title is a portmanteau of the then-future year 1999 and Cleveland's eastside neighborhood centering on East 99th Street and St. Clair Avenue where the group is based.
E. 1999 Eternal became the group's best-selling album, with over five million copies sold in the United States and ten million worldwide. It topped the US Billboard 200 for two consecutive weeks. The album was nominated for the inaugural Grammy Award for Best Rap Album, ultimately losing to Naughty by Nature's Poverty's Paradise at the 1996 Grammy Awards.
In 2015, the group toured in support of the 20th anniversary of the album, performing it in its entirety for the first time.

I bought this album 6 times at least. Was listening to it a few days ago. I use to have all the remixes, accapellas, instrumentals, my own remixes, lyric pages, and some unreleased tracks.

[Bizzy's first few bars of First of da month]
I wake up, and i seen that my sister was already dressed, she said "imma run and go get my stamps watch and make sure nobody snatches my check."
? thats the mailman, sort thru the mail and put it up in me pocket then i hit up the 9-9 to get me a dub for $40 bucks. Aint no bucket ride that RTA, hop on the 10 to the clair.....
Cleveland Translation:
His sister knew it was the first so she had welfare moves to make. She told Byron to get her check cuz other people in the house and might take it. its the hood. even family shady. go figure.
So he had 20 bucks but wanted to flip it so he hit the block, hence, on 99th, cuz it was jumpin at the time and the double up man wasnt hard to find.
And here is the part i like, cuz im from the same hood. He said he aint have no bucket, car, for you white people out there, so he had to get on the rita. RTA. Cleveland's "Regional Transit Authority," aka the bus, and if he was catching the 10, because he said he hopped on the 10, that means he was on 105, aka E.105th Street, and thats where the ten roll and it crosses the clair, aka St. Clair. Now!!!!......
His story thus far doesnt add up. E.99th is on St. Clair. If he was on a hundred n five, to get to the clair, where did he buy his double up, his dub from after he woke up, went thru the mail, then hopped on the ten to the clair?
I know the answer to the question. And for me to tell you that, would be to incriminate myself and disclose where EXACTLY i live lol.
This ? is too funny lol hahahaha
