Just finished it...
It was off the chain...
Last 3 episodes went fast, great pacing, great acting by the kids, nailed the 80's feel, had ET, Goonies and whole bunch of other vibes to it...
Mike's dad was the quintessential 80's pops, had no clue what was going on, didn't speak much lol...

The little chubby dude was funny.
Apparently they cut down the his lines during the last ep or two because his voice started to change too much. -
Had a lil discussion with a coworker about this show. He said it was the best thing to happen to Netflix. I was like chill fam, this is a very good addition to the Netflix portfolio, then I rattled off all the heat Netflix been dropping. Acting like Netflix ain't been out here.
But he is Team DC, so that may influenced him. -
I'm not a fan of Marvel films but Daredevli and Jessica Jones were great!

I agree, JJ was watchable, but nothing great. DD season 2 was one of the most entertaining seasons of any show I have ever seen.

The wife and I loved it. I'm an 80's baby, 90's kid, and a lot of the stuff resonated with us. It reminded us, as latch key kids, how adults were never really around. Like, they had an idea where we were, but they never really knew our exact whereabouts.
My wife was like, "Where are their parents?" I'm like, "Were your parents around like that when you were 12? Mine weren't." She was like, "Good point."
Show was awesome though. Can't wait for season 2. -

Im really diggin this so far. The 80s tone. All the lil kids are cool af. Im sold.
Lmao @ when the lil girl came home the next morning n the moms was like "whatever happened, u can talk to me." I said to myself "Moms knows whats up. She can smell ? on her breath" lol -
