DJ Quik Says YG's Management Failed To Credit Him For Work On "My ? ", Says He's Not The Truth

DJ Quik is lawyering up against YG.
Six weeks ago, Compton legend DJ Quik threatened to sue an unnamed Compton rapper. Welp. It turns out that that rapper is YG.
Late Sunday night, Quik took to Twitter to call out YG and his management for failing to credit him for his contributions to YG's platinum hit "My ? ."Y'all had me engineer and record My ? for YG and did not give me credit," Quik wrote. "My Lawyer has You His sights. You've ? up."
He reiterated this sentiment over the course of several tweets, all of which have you can see below. "Be safe on the block I invented," he advised YG.
It appears that Quik is more upset that he did not receive formal recognition for his engineering work than getting shorted the requisite fees. Rest assured, he is coming for both.

Hate seeing older folks not of the twitter era doing ? like this. I get and respect he wants everything owed to him no problems with that.

hmm, I'm curious what fully encompasses him "engineering" the track. did he just record yg rapping or did he mix it as well? If it's just recording there's always the chance they re-recorded it with someone else and thus why he didn't get credited.
