Reminisce some time, the night they took my friend (uh-huh)
Try to black it out, but it plays again
When it's real, feelings hard to conceal
Can't imagine all the pain I feel
Give anything to hear half your breath (half your breath)
I know you still living your life, after death -
Used to do this all the time
-
Na my people came up by the time ps2 dropped
I had multi taps and some more ? , game shark online for socom and all dat dere -
Impossible to bet without codes...
-
That wasn't ? when you were playing gran turismo and had to do 24 hour race..... This was before you were able to save it and pick back up. Had to pause that ? and hope it didn't storm or parents or siblings come in and cut it off.

Use to do this on the systems prior to PS. There was no option to save. You either played the game all the way through or you start over.
And it wasn't pulling up codes on the computer, it was tearing sheets out of game magazines in stores to get MK finishing moves lists. -
What y'all know about not sleeping at all and completing San Andreas in two days.
We didn't have a memory card and neither the game or the ps2 was ours. And we tried keeping it on several times but mons would shut it off as soon as we went to sleep. -
The real struggle was not having a ps2 because they were too expensive
-
Man me & my cousin left my PS1 on for almost days at a time trying to beat games cuz we had no Memory Card. He left it on one day for Metal Gear Solid & he accidentally tripped on the plug right after he started the second disc... We got a memory card eventually.

Use to love going to the grocery store with my folks. Use to do the right thing and get them to purchase the magazine..... They'd say it to expensive..........That's when I start tearing pages out the book. -
Or when final fantasy 7 came out and you really did need the guide to win chobaca races and all the summons you could do.
Damn I really wish they would re master ff7 though -
Memories!
Gamefaqs mags with all the cheat codes -
When I finally got a PS2 I didn't have one for THAT ? . Me, my cousin & his brother went to some girls house they were smashin at the time. Her son was there & he was probably around 9 or 10 (I was 15) & he had a PS2. Played him in NBA Live, I mostly play Madden even back then so he beat me. His spoiled ass was talkin ? & I took it some type of way. So I did the only thing I could short of steelin him in the face, I stole his memory card.
Later that night we were playin Shinobi & my cuz was like "where you get the card from?". I kept my memory foul & didnt say ? . I'm sure when that girl called she told him about how her lil ? was cryin for the card & he was like...

Did this was gta3 -
Im proud to say I failed 7th grade cause of this ? . In 1993-1994 the only reason why I went to school was to trade and borrow games, read EGM and Game Pros and make fighting game move lists. I had a trapper keeper full of written down moves, magazine tearouts and drawings of RPG maps. My mom worked in a office so she photocopied game pages for me and i used to sell them at school to buy tapes or money to rent games on friday night. Friday night at blockbuster then>>>>the club now
This issue right here was the equivalent of ? ? epidemic in my school and hood. I can recall in DVD detail ? fights, teachers getting cussed out and ? ganging up and snatching on whoever reading this issue like wolves. This is how 90% of people in world found about the first MK2 screenshots, moves and finishers. If you had this issue you were bigger than the plug. ? would kiss your ass, give you their lunch, follow you, be your bodyguard, do your work anything just to get a peek. I got tons of stories about this magazine. Great time to be alive then -

Me and my brother found out a trick to this.
Get the fastest car you could find, set the left analog stick to accelerate when pushed to the right, throw a rubberband around both sticks and you were zooming around the track with no problem.
We would leave that ? on all night wake up with the race won -
Did this with metal gear solid 2
-
Waiting on that one friend who had the Game Informer subscription to let you hold the magazine so you could use it......

I remember back in 97'. My mother bought me NBA Live 98' for Christmas. I used to cop those Gaming magazines around October & November, so I can see how the NBA Live will look like. I was creeping around the tree & came up on a box with my name on it that shape like a game. I opened it & was filled with excitement like Mike Epps when he found his lottery ticket in All About The Benjamins lol. I took it over one of my childhood friends house (R.I.P) to play & I thought it was the coldest graphics ever lol. After, we got done with it then I snuck it back in the house, wrapped it back up like I never touched it lol

Yea that was later on I think with gt4 maybe gt5 with that red bull car. But some of those races you actually had to for real race plus hit the pit stop and change tires. And I want to say you had to fuel up also. If you want a real deal racing game gran turismo is the game you looking for -
I couldn't play any rpgs for a long time.
-
? proud they were broke and flunked 7th grade over a damn video game?
Men raise yall kids -
PS1 and Dreamcast smh Maa didn't understand the importance of a memory card so we had to wait til someone's bday then they'd take one for the team and get one
til then it was tryna cover the light with a book or sutten durin' school.
Comin' home and seein' the ? turned off was WOAT -
Did that ? with the game cube
