Sensational! Future’s album EVOL, which dropped in February, has just been certified gold by the RIAA, becoming the fourth hip-hop album to do so this year. Drake’s Views and Kevin Gates’ Islah had reached the milestone previously, with the RIAA counting Zayn’s Mind of Mine within the genre as well.
The 10-track album has been propelled by the Weeknd-assisted track “Low Life,” which the two performed on Saturday Night Live back in March. That track was certified double platinum earlier this month.
The timing of the achievement couldn’t be more perfect, as just this weekend, Zaytoven gave an update on Future’s next project, Beast Mode 16, which he is producing. “We should be dropping a single within two weeks,” he said at the taping of the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards, “and it’s featuring Drake.” Future and Drake released their joint album What a Time to Be Alive in September of 2015 and will look to advance their musical partnership in the coming weeks.
Future will be able to add to his growing plaque collection, with his previous album Honest going gold in December of 2015, What a Time to Be Alive going platinum in March and DS2 going platinum in May. Cheers to Future Hendrix on the accomplishment.

When you can mumble your way to selling records it's a sad state for hip hop.

Lowkey nobody is talking about future's performances in regards to the Drake and future tour tho which is funny because this is the biggest tour he personally has been on.

As an opener yes. But Future's name wasn't as a co headliner like this tour. And to date this drake show is the biggest drake tour ever and future name is after Drake on the ticket. But minimal acclaim about him on this tour. Just strange. -
