Lol @ me forgetting how to spell iceberg
I'm not editing it neither -
We need to open the voting up to everybody.
-
Just be patient and give the judges time, it's barely been 24 hours. I don't think we should make it public voting until maybe the finals.
Yea you open it up to public voting and ? will either troll there vote, or vote based off notoriety instead of actually looking at the labels projects. Let the judges cook B -
What you mean it's barely 24 hrs she posted this 9am yesterday. Theres similar threads where folks post consistently.
So if folks wanna penalize me for holding judges accountable oh well I just like designing anyway -
He's right. I only posted what I did when I did to set an example lol
How y'all go from like 9 judges to 5? Y'all gave the judges a deadline last week and they went over it by like 2 days
Yall gonna be done with this in 2017
Shouldn't open it up to anybody though.
-
We don't ask for opinions about the structure of the game from the judges. Can you all please play your part and stay in the agreed roles given to you. Thank you.
-Bella -
Like I said. Penalize me if im asking for too much

Future Sales: Greenwood, Black Roses has Eminem but outside of him I believe Iceberg's label has a better chance of long term sales.
Longevity: Greenwood, they have a nice mixture of current young artists and veterans some artists have shown critical acclaim but they haven't peaked musically yet. I feel they're going to get better.
Album Covers: Greenwood, these looked more professionally done. Black Rose looked cheaply done.
Track lists: Tie, can't judge this.
Cohesion: Black Rose ENT, I edged it to them only because this label is closer to the real life Shady Records plus I believe Fat Joe would be a nice fit as well.
Winner- Greenwood -
Sigh
Who woulda thought this edition of this game that had more participants than any other time, is struggling to get the judges to actually judge. So we can move along and finally end this. -
-
Might as well sign up to be a judge.
-
Sales: as far as sales go I would have to give it to greenwood on the strength of Kanye pulling jay-z for another watch the throne. Ross being who he is & people anticipating for frank ocean & mod def, which might surprisly do numbers Eminem is tough to beat but the rest of the label is strictly underground besides the r&b singers. In this day & age Mary j. Wouldn't be appreciated like she should be.
Critical acclaim: greenwood again: I would love a banks/budden album but the production wouldn't be guaranteed to carry the album, vs the jay & Kanye cd the production wouldn't be close. With me back in the mix with some familiar face I could see some of g-units best work, but Ross with mostly justice league production, mos def with mostly q-tip production & chance with Kanye overseeing it would just be too much potential for classics.
Longevity: the raw lyricism & staying power by black roses means nobody is going nowhere. Not Mary j. Not Neyo which is a genius. Not the white boy (hell no) & fat joe who pulls a hit out his ass every couple years with his determination. Black roses sticks around forever, even in the underground with slaughterhouse & gunit.
Cohesion: from patiently waiting (50 & em) to remember the Titans (Joe & banks) last day (Joe & banks) slaughterhouse (the first album) & gunit (mixtape legends) this category isn't even close, chance & Kanye hell yeah, watch the throne hell yeah but other than that as far as bars black roses would have chemistry like the Spurs, they might have to switch it up, drop a few players or bring a star off the bench but they would clearly make the best hip hop records. Imagine posse cuts from this label smh lol.
Album covers: the tack back your crown is sick, I could actually see chance doing that & it's creative (no ? ) & children with a dove is a beautiful cover, the only one from black roses I could give major credibility to is the banks & budden cover, I feel that fits both artist & goes perfectly with the black roses scheme. -
Hoped y'all liked my review & I hope it's not too late & I ain't write that ? for nothing lol.

@216atlran thanks!! Next round begins Sunday, I'll @ you in the thread

No it's not!! I appreciate your continuing support 5th Letter if I had some nudes I'll PM you some since you're the only original judge -
I'll have my vote posted in the next few hrs

Sales: Greenwood got this easily. Outside of EM, not too many units will be moved on Yung$, 50 could go Gold tho.
Greenwood has Watch The Throne 2, which is going plat within acouple weeks. It'll take about 3 weeks for Frank Ocean to go Gold and Ross goes Gold on every album.
Winner: Greenwood
Longevity:
Greenwood got this one easily too. Damn near everybody on Yung$ is over 40, while most of the artists on Greenwood are relatively young.
Winner: Greenwood
Album Covers: The covers for Fat Joe and Gunit are atrocious, my lil nephew can make a cover better than that and he's only 3 months old b. I do ? with the Em and Joe/Banks album covers tho, I can see them using them covers in rl.
While normally covers are Iceberg's specialty, there's a couple of these I didn't really ? with. I don't see Ross ever using a cover like that, the Frank Ocean cover was cool , but I'm not really feeling that one either. They're not wack, I just don't see them using those. With that said, the cover's for Chance and Mos were dope and definitely fit their personality.
Winner: I give the edge to Greenwood.
Tracklists:
Smh, I really wanted to give this one to Yung$ because he had some dope collabs that I would pay for to hear, but the attention to detail Greewood has can't go unnoticed. He had a specific producer for every track to compliment the artists who are on the track.
Winner: Greenwood
Critical Acclaim:
Again, Greenwood got it. Every album Frank Ocean drops gets critical acclaim. Kanye? You already know he's gonna get 1000 awards. Chance's last album was one of the highest rated albums of year.
Winner: Greenwood
Yung$ has a pretty good roster, I just think he should've mixed in a few younger artists to balance it out. TBH as a hiphop fan, I would wanna listen to the albums dropped from Yung$ before the albums dropped on Greenwood, but when you're creating a label is less about who you like and more about the business aspect of it and Greenwood mastered that. Good job by both.
