I think it's time we address this "Hotep" s**t that black men are being labeled as....

I've been reading up on it. Most of what I've seen is that it's a term used being ancient Egyptians used for peace, but feminism has turned it into a term almost meaning "fake ass woke brother."
Most feminists use this logic to label dudes as Hotep if they say they are for black empowerment, but don't give a ? about sexism or LGBT rights. And apparently, amongst other things Hoteps are blamed for, they've been blamed for Hillary losing the election because while Black women turned out in droves for her, black men didn't vote for her in the same capacity.
Anyone care to share your thoughts on this?

Hotep has become a pejorative but its well-earned. Usually it applies to "afrocentric" ? who don't practice what they preach or they always preaching and pontificating, spreading mis or disinformation usually for their own benefit.

I knew the origin hotep, but the word is lost in the saucs at this point. So is "uncle tom", an honorable character in the book.
"Militant" and "pro-black" appear to be used wrong on here as well. I laugh at how telling black folks to value their lives is given such an extreme label by other blacks. It exposes how they think like white people. Then again, some you might really be white for all I know. That would make more sense. -

Yeah, the name sounds pretentious because it's some made up ? . That said I believe there is merit to the concept, but I also thing feminists tend to exaggerate its significance. -

Hoteps and black feminists are both impractical ideologies. Hoteps believe that the pursuit of financial stability is somehow catering to the ? structure. They believe being broke and poor is righteous and that black females should come to them adopt their life ethos despite being broke af. Theybelieve they can save the black community by appealing to african gods who have yet to do anything. They don't teach practical things like armed militia groups or feeding and teaching the vunerable in their community because those things require money and action and the biggest problem with hotep ? is they think knowledge for the sake of knowledge is power. They talk all day long with no action.
Black feminists honestly believe that they can save one half of the race. They have over inflated egos believing that for the most part black men are superfluous. For black men to be acceptable they should have the same behavior dispositions as women which is why they trump up terms like toxic masculinity or hyper masculinity. They simultaneously believe that all men should be pursuing them regardless of body type personality income number of children number of abortions. They believe that men should elevate and protect them while simultaneously claiming positions of power whether in the workforce or personal lives. ? phrases like #blackgirlmagic #blackgirlskillingit obsfuscate the reality that while they may be the largest group to earn degrees many of those degrees are not high income generating. And while black women may be the fastest growing group to open businesses many of those businesses fail quickly because of a lack of business acumen. Black feminists tend to be anti gun and secretly ? after the attentions and affections of white men, shout out to Six. -
Saw one video circulating on twitter of some ? saying women having a mental cycle isn't natural and can be stopped if they control their diet and eat natural food lol. That's the stupid ? those ? believe. Those hotep ? usually hate anything that doesn't proclaim black men specifically as lord supreme ruler and that the black woman or "wombman" as they say, as being meant to serve them and any deviation from that is playing into the white man. It really is hilarious in a very sad way.
