? the grammys
-
Inb4 fake outrage about Drake
-
Surprised Future aint make the nominations. Did these ? forget he dropped maaaaddd projects this year ? SMMFH disreespeckful
Future, Cole, Rae Sremmurd, ATCQ etc won't get a Grammy nod.
Drake is the most popular name in hip hop atm(if not pop music in general) and most of these award shows(especially Grammies) go off popularity.
Shiit I'm surprised they didn't try to sneak in Eminem in a nomination even tho he hasn't released anything.
And btw Hotline bling and One Dance >>>> Pop Style. -

Bruh... Hotline Bling is damn near two years old. I swear they just pulling nominations out their ? . But yea, ? the Grammys.
Another thing, how many self-titled albums does Weezer have!? -
No Common or Tribe..
Mint condition... mya? -
None of th Grammy nods are shocking
-
Tribe album wasn't eligible for this. Was expecting to see a bunch ? boy rap ? up there, good to see nowhere to be found even if it don't mean nothin.
-
Now i bet Beyonce will show up to this.
-
People say hip hop is dead. Looking at the rock noms rock is dead.
-
"you think I give a damn about a grammy"
-
Rootin for Chance & BJ Chicago Kid
-
Rae Shrejklaejklad bout to tear it up next year because they're not threatening.
Edit: They doin they thing, guess I better learn how to spell their name. -

It's drummers spelled backwards. Sremmurd lol -
Oh shittt -
People sleeping on Chance changing the game getting a mixtape nominated for a Grammy
-
The special Olympics isn't enough? Retards like Desiigner and Lil Yachty gotta be eligible for Grammys too?
-
Lmao dj khaled
-
Dope to see chance the rapper, anderson .paak, and schoolboy q to get recognized, but that's some disappointing nominees overall.

Hip hop is basically pop music now,Rock has gone back underground. -
Beyonce even up for a Rock Grammy
They got her nominated in damn near every category.
They wanna make sure the Carters attend EVERY year -

It's not like it's genuine. I mean they had to goad the Academy to ever get him considered. I guess they're breaking down barriers, so that's dope for Chano. -
The Grammys always judge mainstream HipHop music and then probably just add one or two indy acts as a sort of token (De La Soul)... so radio basically is what they judge on when there's a large market out there. It is what it is...
Now usually they mostly get it right with RnB music but Solange being omitted is laughable. Her album was way better than Beyoncé's and with better substance and replay value... for me -
The likes of BET don't even go left with their awards relating to the Grammys... they have nearly the same list of nominees as the Grammys and someone like Nicki Minaj winning best female rapper every year is equally laughable

Beyonce more than likely is going to open the show. -

Rock is all about nostalgia acts touring and baby boomers/gen y fans paying good money to see them. The other half though the younger up and coming acts are more underground.
