The greatest 180 of all times lol -
he needs to outsource some of his production, stop harmonizing and singing.
Should of been a 5 song EP -

He did outsource some of his production. In fact, he has on EVERY ALBUM. -
Didn't listen and it seems like I'm not missing out on anything

Wouldn't surprise me if he goes plat in the first week tho. With the new rules he going platinum before the month ends.
I was pretty close dayum
At this point his fanbase is solidified. He can make any kind of music he wants and it'll sell. I'm happy for the direction he's taking, yall gotta remember at the end of the day he's keeping it real. And keeping it real isn't restricted to being from the streets and being hard. It's about being an honest person, man to your wife and family, taking care of your responsibilities whether it be at work or elsewhere. In other words, being an adult. Cole is in his 30s he's not in college anymore, he's married, has kids he's in a different space, he's making music for an older growing demographic. I like albums like this because it sparks the conversation and makes you think.
I'm happy for dude.
But his music sounds the same as it did when he was in college. Different words, same music. Maybe he wants to stay there. -

I feel like she's mine pt2 and Neighbors are from Cole's perspective so it's not just his homie perspective throughout
Both of those are from the homies's perspective. Listen to em again. Neighbors is especially obvious. When has Cole ever talked about trappin?
She's Mine pt 2 is not so obvious, the only part from his own perspective is the last verse.
He says he's going back to south side at the end of neighbors the song is about Cole -

Huh?
My neighbors think I'm selling dope...in a neighborhood of white ppl...when he says "? I am" thought that was clearly reference to his music
In the song he talks about fame and moving far out to escape the light
"I don't want a picture with the president, just wanna talk wanna talk for the boys in the bando"
Thought that alluded to his meeting with Obama
Bro he literally calls himself a platinum star in the first verse
DONT EVER TRY TO SON ME ? ...prime example why ? shouldn't get to review ? until they sit with it...? I ain't stupid, I hear him switching perspectives through the album -
Didn't listen and it seems like I'm not missing out on anything
Lol at least listen to give a valid opinion -

On second listen, the album's theme made more sense.
I can see some people really not ? with it in a similar way that they don't ? with TPAB.
He did a great job at storytelling and as a concept album, he did what he set out to do.
