A former Seattle tech journalist accused of ? three women is also facing a lawsuit for allegedly creating a fictional pornography business to lure his victims.
Michael-Jon “Matt” Hickey was accused of multiple violations of Washington’s Consumer Protection Act and the Commercial Electronic Mail Act for creating a series of fake Seattle adult entertainment businesses — including New Seattle Talent, West Coast Talent, Casting Seattle, FMH Modeling and Active Entertainment — with the sole intent of tricking women into posing nude and having sex with him, according to a complaint filed this week.
“This is the most egregious scam I’ve seen,” Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson said in a release. “Beyond the monetary damage his victims suffered pursuing the defendant’s fictional job opportunities, they endured emotional trauma and unconscionable loss of privacy through his deception.”
Hickey posed as a female talent recruiter named Deja Stwalley and reached out to women via social media, claiming he could earn them an audition for an independent adult film studio.
The try-out process included three phases: an interview, a nude photo shoot and an “attitude test,” which required the women to have sex with Hickey, according to the complaint.
The Attorney General said Hickey has been stringing along victims for what could be years and noted he even went as far to create a second fake profile — fictional ? entertainer Chrissy Baaten — to assure women they’d make good money working with “Stwalley.”
The complaint requests that King County Superior Court demand Hickey discontinue his fraudulent practices, provide victims with restitution and pay civil penalties of up to $2,000 per violation.
The lawsuit comes on top of ? charges brought against Hickey earlier this year — three victims came forward to accuse Hickey of drugging and then having sex with them after news of his scam broke over the summer.

A similar scam has gone through my mind several times in the past lmao.
I was just gonna call them back after unloading ? on them and be like "Yeah so producers saw the video and they decided to go with another applicant. I will keep you on file though for the next movie!" -

That's my thing. You want to hit him with some fraud charges? Fine. But that privacy and emotional distress ? is out of line. You can't possibly apply for a job in porn and ? as part of the application process and then turn around and act like sex is some emotionally involved act for you.
