We can't effectively mov toward pan-africanist perspectives if we have this attitude that the government has to provide us with everything or even anything..... which is exactly what leftism/ socialism indoctrinates us to believe.

It's not so much about how it will be beneficial to them now, it's how the ? will play out much further down the line. You can't keep with the 'Worry about it later' mindset that his cabinet picks seem to live by, and apply that to all of America. It's as plain as the nose on a face that the ? is disastrous, with long term implications that can never be corrected.

What that meant for homeowners was they were rubble to be plowed so Mnuchin could profit. Borrowers got few options to modify loans, as OneWest dashed to foreclosure. The bank pursued all of the tricks of the era—servicer-driven defaults (where servicing companies tell homeowners they must miss payments to get help, and when they do, they move to foreclose), dual tracking (when servicers negotiate modifications and pursue foreclosures at the same time), and more. Activists ended up on this guy’s lawn demanding that the foreclosures stop.

The dude basically created a bank for the sole purpose of giving out mortgage loans that they knew people couldn't payback. They wanted those people to foreclose so they could get all the late fees and penalties without worrying about any losses because the FDIC covered foreclosure losses up to 20%. That's why it was a scam. The intent of his bank was never to fulfill the typical role of a bank. It was solely to use the FDIC foreclosure default coverage to make money off of people's misfortune.

Yes it does. Red Republican states take more money than they pay in federal money. As I mentioned they are the worse for education and other metrics for Black people. They turned red and Republican due to Racism. The civil rights bill and Southern strategy 50 years ago. There's nothing to argue in that regard and I wont it is what it is.

I'm aware of the history..... black people do not achieve educationally at the same levels that everyone else does because the priorities of our children are trash.... how many hours do you think black students study after school vs how many there White ,asian or Jewish counterparts study???

A lot of the metrics in the black community are bad not because of the political party in power in that state but because of other internal factors within the black community and family

Oh yeah and one more thing. The crime rate reached historic lows, the economy experienced a steady recovery, jobs were created monthly, the economy grew, more Black people went to college, etc. During Obama's (Democrat) term. Compare to Bush Republican term. I aint even mad this is part of the way yall won this round through misinformation but now the Republicans are on the hook lets see what they actually do. People are definitely watching. And true, the political party cant do everything to save everybody in every way but they can obviously help.

Those Trends have nothing to do with Obama or Republicans or Democrats more and more people have been going to college just in general greater college enrollment is a trend that has been happening for decades.

And you can't f****** read my statement says that the enrollment in college has gone up over the decades. Not that college graduation is up so in other words more people are going to college but not all of them are graduating.

Compare how many people went to college in the sixties, seventies and eighties to the amount that go today.... the trend is Clear even if there's been a slight dip

    white supremacists or liberals

    They're not mutually exclusive.

    True

    But I didn't ask that.

    Leftist ideology is the worse

    Without a shadow of doubt

White supremacist has been more detrimental to black ppl in American than liberal ideology

We can go blow for blow with this one and you will get washed.

They're just different sides of the same coin... but the side I don't like is uglier... the pain and suffering caused by the destruction of the black family alone is incalculable.

The past is the past but the destruction of the families is the destruction of the future.

Yeah, man, I hold it against him. lol WTF? Scummy ? is scummy ? . This dude made a business off of hurting people, and you're basically arguing that it was ok for him to do that because the government left the door open. The FDIC had those measures in place to make it so that banks could take some reasonable chances on helping people out without fear of being crushed if things didn't work out. This guy looked at that good will measure and found a way to exploit it for billions at the expense of taxpayer money and unsuspecting citizens.

Dudes like him are exactly why ? can't get better because no matter what the government or industry tries to do to improve the country, there will always be people who selfishly game the system for their own benefit. And if you don't think that's bad, that's fine. If you think it's ok to say "? everyone else" and use any legal means you have at your disposal to profit, that's you. But to suggest that a person like that should have a prominent position in the government, when the purpose of the government is pretty much the opposite of that mindset is ridiculous.

Thats part of the reason things crash and we get recessions and everything during Republican terms. You can be greedy but how greedy do you need to be? Everything's connected. You can look at things as get all you can out of them, but that throws the balance off and doesnt do good for the whole economy. As we've seen from their policies in the past. When the whole economy is doing good your doing even better.

But the Bush tax cuts and other Republican policies, not to mention 2 wars simultaneously, one of which is generally looked at as a mistake were direct causes. Its the Republican policies. There are reasons the economy does better during Democratic terms.
I wanna get mine but I'd rather spread the wealth. For instance if I gotta contribute a little more, but Im living great and the country as a whole is doing better, thats what I prefer. Instead of me getting it and others being unemployed and doing bad. Because its all connected. I'd rather my whole community look good than just my house. And have my house look good of course. Thats more complete instead of partial.
At any rate, we'll see what happens soon enough. And it will have to stand on its own.

Those things made the recession worse you can argue that however the recession would have been coming regardless because what really caused it were the Long Term policies that were set up before Bush came to power.

Problems in the housing market problems in the financial markets those things really caused the recession and made it as bad as it was not really the war

I recognize from a business standpoint that he might be great, but he's not being put in position for a corporate job. This is a government position, and his way isn't right for that position.

Past that, I'm not sure why you feel like the government doesn't have the right to impose regulations in the housing or any other market. Again, that's what the government is for, to look out for the people. With Capitalism, if there was no government, the wealth disparity would be even worse and there would be no way for anyone to move up.
