    Michigan going to Italy

Michigan announced Monday it will fly its football team to Rome this coming April (after finals, of course), where the players will conduct three of their 15 spring practices at the facilities of AS Roma, including an open scrimmage.

In case you forgot about last March’s incredibly vapid spring break debacle, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh took his team down to Bradenton, Fla., to work out at the IMG Academy, issuing an open invitation to Florida high school coaches in the process. At the time, the move was legal by the NCAA rulebook and theoretically helped Michigan earn the ear of coveted Florida recruits while also closing the gap between its expense account and annual revenue stream; naturally, the big wigs in Ann Arbor happily signed off.

In response, ACC and SEC coaches and ADs lost their collective ? , spouting off about saving their players’ spring break, high school athlete and coaching access rules, and some other pointless dribble that avoided the truth, which was that they would very much like for powerhouses from other conferences to stay far away from their favorite recruiting spot. The blatant faux-complaints were made the whiners easy targets for a Twitter assassin like Harbaugh.

Gators seem to be struggling recruiting-wise. Beat them out for Herbert. Hope we beat em out for Edwards and Henderson and steal Shawn Davis from em.

Not worried. Signing Day everything will be settled. Florida's class is underrated. Herbert and Blades both probably wanted real oppprtunities to start and they wouldn't have had that at Florida. They return 14 of 15 linemen from last year, for example.

Man if LSU can get Phillips, ? , Wilson and Mathis plus get Devonta Smith in the fold it would be hugely successful.
Getting Chaisson and/or Bryant would be extra.

Ga Tech once again living in the mid level player realm. Hoping for a diamond in the rough. Swilling is sticking to his commitment.

Racey does look good with his ability to break tackles and run after the catch. I saw some plays where it looked like the whole defense was in front of him and some how he is running for a TD.

    But Devonta Smith

    He likes Miami also

Been saying it for a while that this McElwain cat is not going to cut it. He's the only coach ever at UF to never sign a top 5 class. He can't even sign a top 10 class.

Giving this clown more time is just setting a once proud program back even further. That's unacceptable after going thru 4 years of Muschamp.

Miami just strong armed Hebert (wouldn't even tell him the new OL coach was) and Henderson from him like Saban did with Leatherwood. Then he lost the CB Blades as well.
Recruiting is the bloodline to every program and If you can't recruit at Florida, you have to suck.

How does an AD follow up the Muschamp debacle with McElwain ? ass.

Funny thing is those cacs will keep him for at least 2 more years.
It would not be PC to fire this ? because he's associated with Saban.

I just SMFH at the decisions that Foley made with coaching hires. Zook, Muschamp and McElwain.
He didn't hire Urban Meyer the UF president who came from Utah did.

That new AD better know what he's doing.

You may be on to something. 2017 will be make or break for him. I stand by what I said earlier, but it does have to turn on. Florida had a very respectable season. That should be enough to land a good class. We'll know on NSD what we're looking at for the upcoming year.

Been making it's rounds today. Kinda makes sense with these last couple of de-commits

They literally aren't getting any of their remaining targets and will be lucky to hang on to what they got. They got exposed in South Florida for cheating and now nobody wants to touch them.

Total disaster unfolding in that ? hole right now. Anyone and everyone is running. Nobody wants to be associated with them right now. Things are about to get very nasty with the NCAA. A recruit has a video of two UF assistants offering cash.

Going to get interesting. The Homestead staff banned UF from their campus. Now, a video has been provided to the NCAA showing exactly why. Could be a death penalty situation. No school has ever been busted for such a blatant violation.

Smh we probably didn't offer enough cash. This staff just doesn't get it man.

LOL, you offered plenty. The problem is, you offered it to a kid that doesn't play that game, and that kid and his school turned UF in. Everyone is finding out about this now, which is why everything is imploding.

I believe the Homestead coach went public about banning UF from campus on Twitter last week. The video isn't going to be made public. That's been sent directly to the NCAA. Kids are talking about it like crazy though. That's why Herbert committed to Miami. That's why Henderson is coming to Miami. That's why Edwards won't visit UF this weekend either and will sign with Miami.

Don't worry, the donkey will be gone within a week. Only problem is, no coach worth a damn is going to want to touch that program. Guys just got cavalier and sloppy

They were never looking at Tennessee or Vanderbilt. They both wanted to leave Tennessee.

#WatchTheFinish. Looks like we might end up with Edwards and Henderson when they looked like they were going to UF. Jeff Thomas, receiver outta St Louis looks like a lock. Still going after Devonta Smith
