Cause the extended edition is objectively better than most of the MCU films including the Iron Man and Thor films.
No it's not. Maybe Thor -
BVS was supposed to be an avengers 1 level event but wound up being antman. So it's not a bad movie but its just something that didn't live up to the hype and it just wasn't anything beyond a mediocre movie
-
It wasn't even ant man. The directors cut is semi ok but it's still a mess and disappointment. Antman was fun

Ben Affleck will no longer direct The Batman, according to Variety.
Affleck, who wrote the screenplay and will remain on board as both star and exdecutive producer of the film, has been expressing slight differences of opinion with the studio for some time, indicating that he was more concerned with perfecting the script before going forward, while the studio had concerns about hitting their release date.

Affleck debuted his take on Batman in last year's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and was generally praised even among the film's harshest critics. He looks poised to be the point-of-view character and de facto lead in this year's Justice League movie, which sees Batman and Wonder Woman assembling the titular superhero team.
“There are certain characters who hold a special place in the hearts of millions,” Affleck said in a statement. “Performing this role demands focus, passion and the very best performance I can give. It has become clear that I cannot do both jobs to the level they require. Together with the studio, I have decided to find a partner in a director who will collaborate with me on this massive film. I am still in this, and we are making it, but we are currently looking for a director. I remain extremely committed to this project, and look forward to bringing this to life for fans around the world.”
The filmmaker had recently made some comments suggesting that he was reluctant to direct the film while also starring, indicating that he hoped to get a more comfortable costume to work in, and that he understood the scope of the project.
“Warner Bros. fully supports Ben Affleck’s decision and remains committed to working with him to bring a standalone Batman picture to life,” the studio said a statement. -
Oh sht

I don't think there's anything wrong with that to be honest. With a movie of that magnitude focus on Batman and let someone else direct.

Watch him give his old pal Michael Bay a call.

HIs recent interviews really made it seem like it was all pretty overwhelming to him haha. At least it's still going to be his story and he will be a producer.
People are fan casting David Fincher to direct. I think that would be dope if he was considered haha. -
? it Ill say it
Get Mel Gibson on board lol...I know he wouldnt do it cause he was ? on comic book movies a few months back but still, throw some dollars at em, let see how he responds @ben -
Nobody wants to see Passion of the Batman

Black Manta has been officially casted, never heard of him but I hope he does well

Fincher/Gibson are too independent when it comes to directing to sign up for a comic book flick and let the studios meddle. Finchers been thru that with Alien 3 and Gibson...well Gibson is Gibson.

As for Batman and Flash..better to take time to choose the right script and director than to rush those films..
But its Warner Bros..so not much faith in them. -
Dude for Black Manta is a DOPE choice! he was so awesome on the get down.
-
James Gunn recommended Jeremy Saulnier(sp?) director of Green Room and Blue Ruins to direct batman. I think that would have some GOAT potential just based off the two movies ive seen from him.
-
Matt Reeves is front runner for the Batman solo.
Would be an excellent choice imo. -
Nicole Kidman in Talks to join Aquaman Cast.
