huh?
Iono bout Section.80 being about ? , but GKMC and TPAB both were faith themed albums in different respect so what Mikey's saying is true.
that's a reach. especially for gkmc
Not a reach...the album opens and closes with him giving his life to ? ..is not a gospel album, but ? has definitely been a reoccurring theme in his last two joints -

How many gospel rappers go platinum
That's not my point.
? hating on positive ? . -
I think it will moreso focus on spirituality and how trials and tribulations can test your faith. ? you see and experience will make you ask how can there be a ? .??? Will be dope and thought provoking nonetheless

Rapper Kendrick Lamar is working on a followup to 2015’s To ? a Butterfly, and according to an interview with The New York Times, the project will go in a completely new direction.
In the interview, Lamar discussed how Butterfly and his debut album good kid, m.A.A.d. city looked at injustice, violence and growing up in Compton, Calif., surrounded by gangs. But, for his new album, which is currently in the works, Lamar is taking on a different idea: faith. He said,
“To ? a Butterfly” was addressing the problem. I’m in a space now where I’m not addressing the problem anymore. We’re in a time where we exclude one major component out of this whole thing called life: ? . Nobody speaks on it because it’s almost in conflict with what’s going on in the world when you talk about politics and government and the system.
Though his previous albums had larger scopes and brought in a lot of narrative themes, references to Christianity have been prevalent in Lamar’s music. good kid, m.A.A.d. city even opens with this prayer:
Lord ? , I come to you a sinner, and I humbly repent for my sins. I believe that Jesus is Lord. I believe that you raised him from the dead. I will ask that Jesus will come to my life and be my Lord and savior. I receive Jesus to take control of my life, and that I may live for him from this day forth. Thank you lord Jesus for saving me with your precious blood. In Jesus name, amen.
So far, there’s no release date for his new album.

By this logic you'd rather watch The Preachers Wife instead of Menace to society -

Music has the power to sway ppl. Especially young ppl.
Music is a powerful tool on young minds. Got to have a balance. -
He's put out some good albums so it's interesting to see how he pulls this off.

Album is already a classic just off reading that article

I don't know fam essentially I don't see much difference between listening to killing and robbing than listening about Jesus...except with Jesus you get killing robbing and lying too.
The Catholics sent their minions to ? and rob the "Indians" (and other indigenous ppl) of their country on the charter of Jesus.
May as well listen directly to the ? (killing and robbing).
Edit: I missed the "doing drugs" part. -

TPAB is a classic
This. TPAB is a beautiful album. For that to be the album after Good Kid Maad City hes doing a good job as an artist. Wish more thought provoking rappers were in the limelight -

I'm excited! And facts to whoever said Cole and Kendrick building catalogues and not just cranking out albums about BS
-
We'll see how it plays out. Album sales will tell him how it is.

Big move
It's not what you do but how you do it -
