Where did it go wrong for this guy hes talented and makes good music and he should've been way bigger by now
His mixtapes were fire but his albums didnt really hit. Now hes mia while Kendrick, Cole and Drake who came up around the same time are on top of the game
I had high hopes for him but looks like hes about to be the Lenny Cooke of rap. Killed it at first but couldnt deliver when it counted

Hes done alrightHe's had homeboys management the whole time up until he got with Shaka Zulu in 2015. Not putting out Return of 4eva as his debut album hurt him in my opinion....not collabing enough with his peers like Cole and Kendrick....not touring with a bigger artist hasn't helped. No popping club records, and no mainstream breakthrough. Although he's made songs that could've been in the club most notably "Temptation". Putting out a subpar debut album hurt him too...He set the bar high for himself but I guess def jam wouldn't open the budget for him to live up to it. They wouldn't pay for samples so he scrapped a lot of songs or had to redo them without the sample...He makes traditional southern music which isn't the wave....he's not trapping or killing ? in his songs and he's not really a "? talker"....I'm a big fan but I can be objective....I think saying forever underground and he won't change so many times put him in a box. Saying he flat out sucks is a reach because he tours so somebody is listening to him and going to see him...but to each his own....I can think of a lot trash artist who get a lot of love in the club and radio...At the end of the day not everyone is meant to be a star..
No major cosign/ no association with a major artist....Kendrick/Dre....Cole/Jay....Drake/Wayne....Wale/Meek/Ross....Big Sean/Kanye....YG/Jeezy....Future/Dungeon family/Gucci....Migos/Gucci. Who do you associate Krit with? Mainstream audience's like familiarity....their more willing to give an artist a chance if their associated with someone who is proven....Chance seems to be the exception and I still don't know how he's as big as he is now either.....is what it is. -
