FOH posting Kelly Rowland as an example of a beautiful dark-skinned woman.

Bria is a better example, but still her features are too much on the white side for my comfort. Like can our examples of beautiful black women not have features that are more characteristic of whites?

On a different note, is it true that Bria is getting married to a white guy?

Nobody has to give GA this attention for his post. Nobody. That ? coulda been a ? in the wind, but BW do what BW always do,turning mole hills into mountains. Why? Because BW never miss out on a chance to be a martyr or a victim.

Stop it. Stop feeding trolls, stop being trippy.

and wtf are you doing right now, giving attention to the people giving him attention? i guess that makes you twice as dumb huh? if you're so above it all, you wouldn't have even clicked on, let alone posted in the thread

and there you go making sweeping generalizations about a dynamic group of people, how enlightened of you. challenging the disrespect that black women face because of colourism is not making a mountain out of a mole hill, it's stamping out the ? and letting mf's know their propoganda is not wanted nor will it be tolerated. i didn't know sticking up for ourselves and other black women was being a martyr or a victim

you blase, always above the fray mfs ? me, like bringing attention to the ? is the problem and not the ? itself. the conditioning and systemic brainwashing that leads mfs like gilbert to talk and think like this is a mountain and it needs to be challenged at every turn. if you don;t give a ? , since you're so above it all, stay the ? out of it, and leave it to those of us who do care about the uplifting of the black identity (black women's in this instance) to it

watch tho, you'll still be in this thread you say is irrelevant ? . can't wait for you to grace us with more of your asinine thoughts an all black women's victim complex *rolls eyes*

    1) colorism isnt a women's only issue. Black men just don't cry about it as much.
    2) im never above watching drama. But i am above catching feelings.
    3) lastly, but not least. Youre here to express rage, impotent rage. It's not about correcting or challenging it's petty revenge. If you are about challenging internet perceptions of black women why dont you take that gusto to Reddit? Mind you the ceo of that site is engaged to serena williams. But i already know why. Bw like to go for low hanging fruit. You,@Kai doin all this slicing and dicing on the ic? Beyond pointless. However me addressing you is equally pointless. Arenas is pointless, his post is dull and the fake outrage is the sum of all banality.

I can use 5 dollar words well.

I know hes trolling but if hes talking "lupita" black, women that dark definitely arent promoted or supported as a standard of beauty by anyone i know.

Even the women posted here to "disprove" him arent the type of black hes talking.

Again, entertaining a troll for the sake of entertainment.

Basically. I still don't understand why people care so much about ? like this. I guess it's personal. I guess I can't relate.

People who take themselves too seriously are the easiest people to troll. It's almost as if they reek of insecurity. I mean, we got people posting beautiful dark-skinned women in order to prove what's already self-evident.

Simple fact is that people have their own preferences, regardless of how ignorant they are. It's not that serious. And celebrities can be trolls and/or ignoramuses just like anyone else. Stop putting these people on pedestals as if what they say is worthy of serious attention.

Basically black females are easy. Af to troll.

The important unanswered question is why anyone a what this ? says. He's a politician, a businessman, your or daddy. You care tho why?

    "Abuse?" "Troll?" Heh.

I'm curious. Do you disagree with what I said? If so, what exactly do you disagree with?

There is nothing more important than this issue to black people, in my opinion. Nothing.

So we are enemies if you can't understand why some black care about it.

Wait, what?? Regarding black folk, there is nothing more important than the fact that some black men (some of them trolls) do not prefer dark-skinned black women? Really? Nothing at all? If I'm understanding you correctly here, then we'll just have to agree to disagree.

But I still don't understand how you came to the conclusion that I'm trolling. Kind of ironic.
So we are enemies if you can't understand why some black care about it.

    Heh, "enemies"? OK, weirdo.

I "can't understand why some black care about it"? That's a bit of a distortion of my words, no? You're incorrect. I understand why black folk care about it, and I do too. "Colorism" is a ? .

I just think some people care too much about it, to the point of ridiculousness. It's really childish in more ways than one, imo. But I guess we just disagree.

    You dumb ? ? .

It's ultimately about black self-love, and more specially how this could be further jeopardized for future generations.

You seem to think that ideas that you have not heard of or thought of are presumptively without merit. Well, I have news for you: you do not seem particularly well-informed, not even for the IC, and there is much that you evidently haven't thought about. Including this issue. Well, I have, and I stand by what I said.

Now stop ? replying to me. I really don't feel like engaging with you on the subject.

Wait, are you implying that it's not possible to care about this "topic," or any other topic for that matter, to the point of ridiculousness? If so, I don't understand. Anyone, including yourself, should be able to come up with millions of examples, some that can include anything from petty jealousy to wanton hatred. No?
