i actually believe the issue is with cell phones.
I know im not the only one but ever since cell phones and the internet became ubiquitous. I can barely watch a full movie in the theater without pulling out my cellphone and checking reddit or something else. I look all around the theater and see the same thing. I honestly find it extremely difficult to pay attention to anything for more than an hour now.
On top of that we have so many rap artists now who can easily release music it is very hard to keep up. ? admist all the current chaos i forgot all about ross's album and freddie gibbs. Just an over saturation of the market. -

well ? , a new album drops all the time that who's got time to sit on 1 album for more than 2 weeks. And if it's really classic then you'll listen to it a month later, 6 months later, etc.

Is it that the new generation has a shorter attention span or is it that we have substantially more content/media distractions in general than we had growing up? It's easy to get swept up in the constant changes and being bombarded w/ information if you don't take time to fall back and digest life at a slower pace.
