Lowest I've been is having to get my parents to help me out with rent and bills when my son was a baby and I lost my job for about 6 months.
Thankful for my family and fortunate that they are always able to help me when I need it

You would never know the amount of wealth people like my dad and grandpa have. My grandpa passed but when he was alive he was soooo wise with his money. Our family business has been around for over 80 years.
They both wear/wore shorts from Walmart and shoes from Academy And would buy 2-3 pairs at a time . Shop at Costco etc...you know you spend money to make money. Had nice homes. They drive/drove nice but not flashy cars My dad loves a good deal....which is why he is so successful.
Grandpa ran our family business till he no longer wanted to work and my dad retired at age 50.
Both when asked "how are you doing " ...I'm living the dream was always their reply

I wasn't between paychecks, I was between jobs. I was working as a temp in the AP dept at Borders corporate HQ and was done for the moment and was on my 2nd week waiting for the callback to go back in there. Broke as ? , I had already gotten a loan on my sampler and keyboard from a ? shop and paid bills with that money but barely had money to put food in the fridge. -

Yeah, maybe a check. But if English isn't your first language or even the primary language you use outside of internet, then your ? is more than good (pause). But, couple that with the fact there are no other cues in the communicative transactions we have here aside from words, sometimes it's difficult to understand where you're trying to go.
