Here's one of the most comprehensive websites for mid 90s mix tapes. They only post mix tapes that were released on cassette, so its almost all 90s tapes. They also have tapes from DJs that I've never heard of.
The tapes you should download are: DJ Clue, Doo ? , S&S, Ron G, Action Pac, Brucie B, Buckwild, Tony Touch, ? Harry, Cutmaster C, Doggtime, Kid Capri and Silver Sirva.

Audiomack has been the best for a while. Clear mixtapes and they give you options to download the tapes without the DJ yelling random ? on the tracks

Yeah but the DJ yelling is what makes it a mixtape -

This ? . I cant recall who exactly, I think it may have been @TheGOAT but they sent me a link to an album sometime within the last few months and it was from RG and that site aint ever let me down with a new release. The links stay active for a long ass time, i was able to download ? from years ago. I had used them before but since torrents came around i had stopped and they changed their domain.
beatboxradioshow.blogspot.com is also a reliable site i use for a lot of albums. They got a lot of indie releases. -

Is there any reliable torrent sites still up?? Kickasstorrents and pirate bay are iffy now days. I know there are a bunch of torrent sites that you can only be referred to by a current member.

too much yelling & screaming for me take away from the song -

This, and i hate when they rewind the track after 40 seconds and make you listen to everything you just heard again. Or they rewind over and over for a bit before the track finally starts -

Probably the best thing to do tbh -

Yeah but the whole point of a mixtape is a free promo for somebody's album. You're supposed to cop the mixtape and listen to it, and if you like it you cop the album which is better quality because its been professionally mastered and there's no yelling.
But I agree too much yelling can get annoying, but a good mixtape DJ knows how to do it just right. Doo ? tapes from the 90s are like gold. -
