Can't fault him for not taking a cut like those others. ? like 27-28. This next contract gonna be his only real shot at some significant paper.

lol GSW wasn't trying to give up Klay so I wonder what all their package to Indiana included; Patrick McCaw straight up?

Idk who this person is, but he's from the Kings so I don't like it. -
You'd think the Warriors would be the last team trying to add another star. Greedy muthaluvas.

They didn't send the offer to Indiana. -
He'd be a nice fit on the squad right now but I'm really not trying to see that ? fall out on the court. -

I had the same exact reaction.
Hiring someone from the only organization that is being ran worse than the Knicks to run the Knicks?

Ima be honest and say idk dude at all. Also, I know the issue with the Kings is the same issue with the Knicks, which is ownership. So with that said, I take anyone from the Kings organization with a grain of salt cause the Kings issues usually have to do with Vivecs ? and the executives might actually know what they are doing. Same as the Knicks, even when they have good executives, they cant really work cause Dolan requests them to do dumb ? .
So if the Knicks do hire this guy, im willing to give him a chance, though id prefer them to get a unknown dude from the Spurs organization if they go that way. -

"We love being the alpha of our teams, but it's just not realistic that you're going to be able to do it alone," George said.
"You need help in this league. Back in the day, that's what made the league. Guys were winning championships, making their team better by themselves. They had pieces and they had a lot of help. But the league was spread out.
"Now you've got guys teaming up; the landscape has shifted a bit. In order to compete against that, you have to have guys that can compete at the same level as you. That's really what this league has come down to. [The Warriors] shifted the landscape a lot." -Paul George

In a way this is what we all pretty much wanted. We got a guy who almost nobody knows but he has a extensive resume, is well respected, and has paid his dues.
The only issue anyone of us have with this is that hes coming from the Kings, but it seems like he hasnt been there long and was pretty much in charge of their 2017 draft and everyonr agrees that the Kings had a great draft, mixed in safe picks with risky ones.
I need to know how the power structure will be. If Steve Mills is ultimately in charge of personal decisions, than this doesnt much matter. Lettting Scott Perry have the final decision is what I want to see.
Ofcourse, the disease the Knicks have isnt going anywhere. This offseason while looking for a GM/President, they still felt pressured to make a move before there arent any moves left and overpaid hardaway by 20-25 million. They just couldnt chill and do nothing till they decided on their guy.
This hiring is probably the reason the Knicks want to rethink the Melo trade. They probably want Scott Perrys perspective on it.
But overall im with @iron man1, ill reserve judgement and hope for the best.
