MBDTF 2010 was more of a dope mixtape AND ALBUM year than just albums
Kush and Orange Juice -
2010. Cole dropped FNL, the last mixtape before his first album I think. The Cole World album thread leading up to it dropping was hilarious. Battle between ? hoping he had an illmatic, others swearing he was gonna flop. And some Big Sean Stan named Dayday?
I imagine we were talking MBDTF, Distant Relatives and Big Boi Sir Lucious. I was hype about The Roots How I Got Over -
The Reason was filled with Nas vs Jay threads
-
#signed2thestreets2

The Cool and Gucci Mane Mr. Perfect mixtapes

Insane ? is that is when I discovered the board late 2003 although did not start posting for real till 2004... -
Damn...
AHH, SOHH, and those ? AOL chat groups used to be war zones in 2000. Country Grammar and Marshall Mathers L.P. came out and the stans were at each other necks.
The "? Nas Movement" was just starting. Stankonia also dropped and at the time, we still said Big Boi was better than 3K
? was still doing keystyle battles... good times -
Original account was made in May 2010. According to google bill board Nothin on You by B.O.B. was big, as well as Not Afraid from Em
Searching the Reason itself these are some of the tracks that were popping

Think i was lurking around the time AZ - The Format came out.
But in all honesty i may have been around before that even, thats just only as far back as i can remember. Used to always scroll down and check out all the singles posted on the ahh front page. -
Tie between Late Registration, Carter II, The Documentary and TM101....lurked in 03 finally joined in 05....IC going down for about a year in 07/08 wiped out everyone's posts.

I came to the IC right around the time when purple haze started to leak
Dipset and G unit had biggest and funniest fanbase on here to keep daily fuckery going.
"Nas Lost" was a popular slogan at this time. Ecks and gambino34 were the best anti nas trolls ever to grace the internet. They can get under anyone skin and make you reply. Ecks and the og jigga warriors were vicious on this board then. If you wasnt rolling with rocafella back then you would get sonned off the board. Happened to a lot of good men
Around the time i got here photoshop was fairly new and there was this dude named photoshop who had the best photoshop skills. (It was rumored that he was a cheif developer posting on here). Anytime something crazy in the rap world would happen he would come through without a word like illbot and drop ether. A massive thread where i saw his skills and crazy reaction was in the houston stabs his eyeball out thread.
Another popular thread at this time was titan vs jamal. Legend ? dary. To me It was The real defintive moment of IC humor, the actual night the donkey was born.
I cant even talk about my era and not mention the FPC. I dont give a ? what reddit, 4flan or any other website says. The FPC or freepost committee invented the meme and internet humor. Before the meme people would caption gifs by putting text underneath. Very crude. FPC invented the wheel and hyperimposed the text on gif first before anyone on internet back in 2002-2003. By 2004 they were deep in the reason hi jacking wack threads and had every ? hot when they asked "u mad doggy". One of the signature FPC posts was that classic cam gif where he automatically says suck a ? get ? out of here. That gif had fights on here daily. FPC also invented the powerful porno movement. PPM started here, moved to bootleg back then. It had that one rap clown PM everybody asking for autokey passwords. FPC was so big it broke into another click. THE AGENTS.
The "illuminati" group of IC was THE AGENTS. Yes im capitalizing THE AGENTS because im still shook of them ? . THE AGENTS invented the art of the exposure, ip trace and web site hack on rap forums. FPC Only the chose the elite to be agents. Not much known about them because they took pride in being an anymous entity. If you were in you know who else was in. One guy said he was going to expose THE AGENTS and they put this website down like a sick dog
Streets disciple thread was legendary also. SD was leaked here first before anywhere on internet. It was on a halloween. We had so much traffic that night. Thread went DIAMOND in 4 hours.
Bruh, do you remember that one dude that ran over his cat with a lawnmower?...then posted pictures? I forgot his name. Everyone thought dude was just joking until he posted the pics. -
