Someone on Twitter had a theory about why Tasha want Kanan killed instead of in prison. They think Tariq might REALLY be Kanan's son. It's not the worst theory I've heard on this show.

People on my timeline all shocked that Tasha would do such a thing. She really have trouble getting behind Ghost or infront of Ghost if you ask me. She ain't support him wanting better than The drug biz. She wanted him to take the bad deal the prosecution was offering. She ? on Shawn and Silver before either of them could blink an eye. ? Ghost better learn from Superman not to have his cape flapping in the wind for this ?

When ghost told tariq in his room playing video games kanan had his own reasons for saving tariqs life it was almost telling the audience that there was something to it without ghost even questioning the motive in a slick way.
