Budden made a good point. Drake was killing it when it was just him making his music. Now you got cats like Bryson, 6lack etc. making the same music.

Time to take a break go back in the studio and reinvent yourself

LIl Wayne ran the charts for a while too and look what that got him. Over saturated the market and lost his fanbase,

Jay Z had a nice run too.

50 Cent had a nice run

Puff Daddy and Ma$e had a nice run back in the 90s

Wayne is the goat but Drake been breaking records. Even if he was to never sell another record again he's one of the most consistently commercially successful rappers of all time. All that Ja Rule ? you were talking in 2010 went out the window a long time ago usmarin3. Pay respect.

All that ? and still can't make a classic album. You're right the Ja Rule comparison is bad. Atleast Ja Rule made a dope album with Venni Vetti Vicci. Mr. 3.5 mic rating making albums.

Honestly, I don't see what people see in him.

    He's an average rapper imo.

All his newer hits ? suck

Hate or love it but drake has ran the billboard for atleast 2 years straight. And that's counting all music genres. And before that he had songs like started from the bottom.

I'd be mad if I was Drake and they told me it was a wrap after I provided hits for 2 years straight and missed a step only once.

    Let Quentin him breathe

    He'll be iight

Lmao at 2 years. If you ? don't...

you sayin he's had a ghostwriter since So Far Gone? I don't see it...especially since people were calling him Wayne's ghostwriter when he first came out

Wayne's still got a fanbase out there...he just needs to smarten up on the business/money side of things

It's not too surprising that More Life didn't take off with all those verses from Giggs and Stormzy or whoever else it was that was on that album that was English. English rappers just don't get any love in America, sad cause a lot of them are talented.
