The Irish were indeed persecuted in America and as Ive learned characterised as crazed drunks and animals, and indeed they were also hated in England for a period but they were at war and England also caused a famine, IMO the Royal Fam and some politicians probably still dont like Ireland... But I thought the rest of world seemed to like the Irish lol and today everyone seems to like them to my knowledge... TBF alot of Irish still dont like the English ether, and I dont blame them, if you look into Irish history its mental what the English did...
If you got Netflix try find this dope doc about 'the troubles', its not perfect but gives you an idea or how complex and what religion can cause... Anyways, enough of politics lol

BBC Sport reporter David Ornstein reveals explosive Arsenal details after transfer farce
THE extent of Arsenal's disappointing transfer window has been sensationally revealed.

Arsenal made just two signings - Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette - saw several players leave including Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, moves for Thomas Lemar fail and manager Arsene Wenger received a barrage of criticism.
But in a post on Twitter, BBC Sport reporter David Ornstein has detailed the level of chaos at Arsenal this summer.
He claims Wojciech Szczesny, Olivier Giroud, Jack Wilshere, Mohamed Elneny, Kieran Gibbs, Calum Chambers, Carl Jenkinson and Chuba Akpom were among several players told they could leave the Emirates.
This was to help raise funds for further signings and to create space on the wage bill to offer contracts to Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Oxlade-Chamberlain.
However only Szczesny, Gibbs and Jenkinson departed with Giroud, Wilshere and Elneny staying while Chambers also remained after Wenger changed his mind about him leaving.
Ornstein says Shkodran Mustafi asked to leave Arsenal which the club were willing to facilitate because they were disappointed with him but they were unable to sign a replacement in mind.
It is claimed Hector Bellerin returned from under-21 duty with Spain and told Wenger he wanted to leave and that no contract talks with Ozil have taken place since March.
Wenger is said to have been stunned by Oxlade-Chamberlain's decision to leave and 'did not hold back' in a face-to-face meeting with the player.
Arsenal's inactivity means they have a big budget for the next two transfer windows.
Despite a poor start to the season, Arsenal are said to still believe they can challenge for the Premier League title but Wenger did look to solve their central midfield problems.
While owner Stan Kroenke, who has come under heavy criticism from fans, is 'hungrier than ever' to win trophies but will put his own money towards the transfer kitty.

U say that like its a bad thing. Italian teams have done this for decades. Even YOUR team is trying to follow this model.
Plus a large portion of our loan army are players from our youth academy. If England had a "Team B" setup like Spain does, there wont be any need to have a large loan army. They will be playing for Chelsea B in the Championship or a division lower. -
Toby Alderweireld's advisor has told Tottenham either to reward the defender with an improved contract or allow him to leave the club.
Alderweireld was considered one of the best centre backs in the Premier League last season and has become a crucial part of Mauricio Pochettino's team, but while a host of Spurs players have been handed new contracts in the last 18 months, Alderweireld is yet to renew his own deal, which expires in July 2019.
The Daily Star reported earlier this summer that the Belgian currently earns around £75,000 per week and is seeking a pay rise to bring him closer to Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris, who earn more than twice that when potential performance-related bonuses are taken into account.
Alderweireld's adviser Stijn Francis has urged Tottenham to make a decision on his client's future.
'Toby is always good,' Francis said. 'Even after his injury he recovered well. Tottenham's statistics fell sharply during his absence.
'If you only look at his figures, Toby is impressive and for his performances, he deserves either a correct contract from Tottenham or a transfer.
'For a transfer, you know that he can only leave Tottenham for seven or eight teams and almost all the other top clubs are interested in Toby.
'There are not a lot of central defenders of his kind so they are sought after. But those clubs also know that they have to negotiate with (Tottenham chairman) Daniel Levy.'
Although Spurs reportedly have the option to extend Alderweireld's contract by one more year, doing so would then activate a clause making him available for just £25million.

Arsenal chief Ivan Gazidis insists the summer transfer window was a success: 'Keeping Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil was a statement of our ambitions... claims we are just about the money are simply nonsense'
Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis has sensationally claimed that club's summer transfer window should be viewed as a success.
'At the end of the window, reviewing all activity, we have once again improved the depth and quality of the squad,' Gazidis wrote in an email sent to players and staff on Friday via the Daily Star.
'Everything is coloured by results... a positive performance at Liverpool would have coloured this transfer window very differently,' he continued.
'We have had a poor start to the season but have the quality to turn it around and turn around performances and compete for the title'.

I reckon at this rate, Arsenal are gonna breed an "ultras" fanbase that would run up on the board for this type of BS! -
